We rented 4 rooms and all were very spacious and clean with comfortable beds and big bathrooms

Very clean and new. Had a washer and dryer which was very convenient. Staff was awesome and there is a place to store luggage if you get to the city early or leave late!

Great location at the end of the shopping street. Our room had a lovely view of the mountains. Very clean, great facilities and kind staff. Very helpful that there were lockers available to leave our bag after check out.

Two light were not working, but it wasn’t a big problem. It would have been nice if the spa would have been open longer.

Apartment was clean, spacious and the shower is awesome. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to help with any issue we had.

It was impossible to control the temperature in the room. It appeared to be a seasonal issue, but it still made the room uncomfortably hot.

Bolzano is a stunning little gem with this hotel offering superior accommodations.

Very spacious and clean. Wonderful location. Reception was exceptional. Irina was very helpful with information and how to use the laundry facilities.

Sadly there was no breakfast option within the hotel itself….but there are a number of places close by so wasn’t a problem.

Very spacious room. Every detail is well thought of. The bed was extremely comfortable. Thanks to the shutters, the room was really dark and quiet. Loved it. Also beautiful parking facility available.

Great location, spacious rooms and magical view.

The location is perfect, overlooking the mountains and directly on the busy shopping street, still very quiet in the rooms, the rooms are very spacious and very well equipped, clean and renovated, we had the room on the 5th floor and it had a magical view from the balcony over the mountains. The staff is friendly and quick, and the access system is easy to deal with and check out.

Great location and nice new apartment in the heart of Bolzano

Nice and very modern apartment layout. No sink outside the bathroom and no real kitchenette facilities but there was a table and couch. Plus a balcony so we ate food inside and out but cleaning up was a bit of nuisance. Great parking and great location for walks into town or along the river.

Italian dryers do not compete with US ones. The shared one downstairs would not dry our clothes so we hung them out on the balcony.

The Palais Hortenberg exceeded all expectations. The location is absolutely perfect—10 out of 10. All major attractions are just a short walk away. The reception staff were warm and welcoming, and the apartment was spotless upon arrival. The facilities were very comfortable, and the balcony was a real highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Everything a traveler might need for a short stay was provided and more. For longer stays, a few extra kitchen items such as plates, knives, forks, and other utensils would make things even more convenient.

Wonderful property in the heart of Bolzano!

Best find ever! The room was designed as a “smart” apartment that suited our needs perfectly. It had all state of the art amenities. The location is also fantastic. You are right in the historic center and can walk everywhere. Moreover, the staff were professional and helpful. We will be returning here in the future! Grazie mille.

Perfect location, perfect rooms

Large and comfortable room for this price. The best location in the city center. The bathroom was very clean and all facilities were in perfect condition. I also liked that the lighting and air-conditioning control was through a user-friendly touch screen control panel.

The only small drawback was that there is no 24 hour reception and even during their work hours, it is hard to find them. They usually don't answer the phone.

The location was really good, 5 minutes walking to the whole city centre. The room was new, modern, big and clean.

It could be nice to have a breakfast. The check-in hours were really short but we could enter without it, just with a code from email.

Stunning modern accommodation in the heart of Bolzano

The property exceeded my expectations. The apartments are extremely comfortable, well appointed and spacious and represent incredible value for money. They are warm, cosy and quiet despite the location. The location in the commercial heart of the old town is outstanding. I also left some jewellery in my room and the hotel mailed it to me, full marks for honesty and professionalism.

I would have appreciated left luggage facilities, I would have rated the property 10/10 if there had been somewhere to leave my bag for an hour prior to check in. It would have been nice if guests could use the basic spa facilities (e.g. sauna) free of additional charges.

Modern apartments on the main shopping street

Very modern and clean. Spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. The entrance to the apartments are on the main shopping street but the sound proofing is very good.

Hot water in the building failed on one morning we couldn’t shower or wash properly. The description of the property said Mountain View. Our view was overlooking the shopping street - the second floor clothing of the e H&M store to be precise. When we spoke to reception that said they use the same description for all the rooms. Wrong!

Spacious and modern apartment with superb location!

We had a wonderful stay at Palais Hortenberg! The location is fantastic, with a wide range of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants close by. The apartment is spacious, modern and equipped with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. The communication with the staff was excellent and the lady working at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose to stay there again!

Very modern facility with large rooms complete with mini kitchen (microwave, small frig). Very high tech - took a day to figure out how to operate all the lights and ac. Great location right across street from museum and in the heart of old town. 10 minute walk to Walther sq. Would be perfect for couple with young child .grocery store right across street. Parking garage easily accessible.

Took a while to master the key card entry system for front door and lifts.
