Don't be put off by negative reviews, perfect little hotel.

I was skeptical staying here after reading bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised.. It was closed when I arrived but has a sign on door saying check in from 3pm, I returned and was greeted by a very friendly young lady, check in was quick and easy.. Being a solo traveller for 1 night I booked the cheapest single room and ended up getting a nice double. The room was modern, clean, comfortable, lovely bathroom with warm shower, I didn't explore the area much but they have vending machines on the landing with drinks/snacks. The girl at reception was very helpful with local info, and the hotel itself is a 15 minute walk from town along the river through the public gardens. I'd definitely stay here again.

Only negative I had was one of the windows was broken and hanging off the hinge, but still opened fully. And the outside of the hotel has metal shutters over the windows, this was half down so made obscured the view/light entering the room. I never spoke to reception as it wasn't a massive issue and maybe would of been an easy fix.

Nice stay

The room was very clean and comfortable, the receptionists were really nice and hospitable especially the younger one. The day I left she called me that I forgot some papers and were very important because those were from my job. She saved my life.

It's quite expensive and you don't get any breakfast included.

Bolzano sells itself with its beautiful scenery and historic buildings. The hotel was minimal.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and professional. Including cleaning staff were friendly.

Noise from the next room and the bathroom was minimal. Not a great shower. Towels were never changed. Bathroom never cleaned.

Well linked to historic centre by bus and nearby playground for kids.

Clean three-bedroom hotel room with ensuite but overall minimal space. No lift available. Parking is a challenge at this hotel. There are two areas; parking bays marked in blue where you have to pay and white parking bays where the hotel gives you a special permit. DO GET PERMIT IF YOU PARK THERE BECAUSE THE POLICE VISIT EVERY MORNING. The problem is having access to these bays and some wait is unavoidable.

Overpriced stay with only necessary service

Next to the hotel there is a bus stop so it is easy to come from the bus stop. There are red sofas in the hall where you can sit. The receptionist was a really nice woman that helped us where to buy bus tickets. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

There are no kettle, no fridge and no cups in the room. Also the rubbish bin is only in the bathroom and is very small. So you either go out to the hall to throw away bigger rubbish or you keep it till the cleaning. There is no free coffee or tea. Only vending machine where you can buy a cup of coffee for coins. No breakfast possible to buy. Moreover, in my reservation I was told that the room has a view on a park and a river. Instead of that parking and a road. Also the noise isolation is not ideal - even if the door is very heavy, you can hear everything from the corridor and also the noise from the street and parking.

We asked for silent room with twin beds and they promised this. First we had to change the because of the bed and the room we got was very, very noisy due to cafe downstairs and apartment upstairs. We couldn't sleep. Much too expensive room.

Decent enough hotel for one night, but pricey for what you get.

The hotel manager / host was a very pleasant man. The hotel was as expected.

The car park was full so had to park on the road, even though we did find a space relatively easily, be it away from the hotel. We did have to wait 15 mins as hotel only allowed checkin upto 1030pm, and the hotel entrance was locked as we arrived late and no one was at the foyer at the time. Also the room blinds was broken and not working but the blinds were already half down so wasn’t issue with too much light coming in, in the morning. We were only staying one night. It’s a decent enough hotel for one night. For the price though - I’d expect significantly better. I’d say it’s overpriced by 40%.

Parking was odd, but front desk clerk was as helpful as possible. He moved his car so I could squeeze in - very kind of him. Air conditioning was not very effective.
