Pleasant, but a little disappointing

Cleanliness, bed, location

No welcome pack - single sachet of coffee No toiletries, matches (for wood burner) or replacement batteries for TV remote. Would need to be 6’4 to see in bathroom mirror / numerous comments about this in visitor’s book !!

Self catering. Location was absolutely beautiful. Rob was such a welcoming, interesting and accommodating host. Excellent food available at nearby, characterful pubs... all with the option of eating outside in lovely suroundings. Very helpful suggestions given by Rob, both verbally and in Guests' Welcome pack, re where to eat, where to visit etc. Lovely to meet the pig family! Comfortable bed.

A few more hooks for hanging clohes, washbags etc. would have been appreciated. Bathroom mirror so high that we could only see our foreheads in it (Both 1.7metres). An adjustable mirror on a swivel screwed to the wall beneath the window would have been a great help...and maybe a half-length mirror ont he back of the sliding door to the bathroom. Very low water pressure from the handbasin tap...but the shower was absolutely fine: good pressure.

Great, peaceful location and will definitely stay again

Great, peaceful location, views of fields, and 20 mins walk from the Lamb Inn where I dined each night. Just what I was after and will definitely stay again. Friendly host

Exposed to the wind on top of the hill which made it rather chilly, but this was not an issue for me personally and there is a woodburner inside if you want to feel cosy.

Perfect location to visit Clarkson’s Farm and Pub

Perfect location, a lovely quiet working farm with beautiful views. Ideally located to visit Didley Squat Farm and the Farmers Dog. Close to Burford, Bourton on Water and Chipping Norton. Pet friendly and no extra charge which was appreciated. We’ll definitely visit again.

The farm wasn’t sign posted on the road so caused undue stress. No clear office or where to go. Didn’t help that booking.com didn’t send an email confirmation with the owners details and the number on the app went to cottages.com who were extremely unhelpful. Wasn’t a great start.

It's small but very cosy and has everything you need; Good internet speed, an excellent heating system, complete kitchen facilities and a comfy bed. Our dog was very happy to walk around the field. Only 10 minutes drive from Bourton-on-water.

Amazing accommodation, set in a beautiful location, so relaxing and peaceful. Rob the owner was so lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend stopping here.
