Nice apartment but issue with someone entering the apartment and key not coming out of the door to lock it properly

The apartment itself is really great and has all the amenities you need. Close to the Christmas markets and the beds were comfortable. The host was accommodating regarding dropping bags off before check in so we could go out for the day.

From the inside the door would lock but early in the morning a man was able to open the front door and put his head into the apartment but quickly left when we had the sofa bed in use??? We could not get the key to the apartment out the back of the door, this meant when we returned from being out our bags had been in the apartment unlocked, this was the same the following morning when we quickly popped out for coffee we had to leave it unlocked. We hadn’t thought much of the key before our friend let us know about someone coming in unannounced and this made us feel uneasy. I did notify the owner but have had no response on this.

Great place to stay but be careful of the spiral staircase.

It was clean and tidy.

Think there could have been information about how to work things in the property, and also as I first time stay in Brussels information about the area. Also the spiral staircase is not for everyone especially if you have mobility issues.

Good flat but!

Excellent location for centre, local shops, bars restaurants. Easy to get to bt tram from the Eurostar terminal.

It didn't bother us, but access to the bedrooms and bathroom is by a narrow spiral staircase. This could be a problem for someone with limited mobility. The really big issue, and why I would not stay there again, was that there were 3 bases for smoke alarms in the flat, but none of them had a smoke alarm fitted. This is a big safety issue.

Great stay in Brussels

The apartment was spacious and clean. The wifi worked well and the apartment fit all of our guests with ease. The kitchen was fully equipped and we appreciated the washing machine. The location was great and was not far from food and shopping options.

The location was great for moving about in Brussels, the place was super clean and the facilities were good. The place smelled nice

The lack of air conditioning or fan for the hot nights. We had to open the windows in the bedroom and had to face the noise of the traffic. The staircase was a bit creaky.

This property located in the city. Easy to go around and close to station and tramp.

Overall a well appointed and well located apartment, but it would have been better in colder months.

It had a big kitchen and dining room, and the small courtyard and washing machine were a bonus. It was a short walk to restaurants.

No AC. This means windows facing traffic have to stay open all night.

The perfect location for a stay in Brussels!

The location was perfect! Metro only a few mins walk away, a close walk to the Brussels city center! so many restaurants and shops near by! very convenient location for our stay! we also loved how clean the apartment was and had more than enough facilities, towels, bedding!

The only thing that we would change was the spirals stairs! it’s very cool and groovy to look at and blends it well with the decor but it was very difficult going up and down! just an awkward stairs

Pleasant

The apartment is very nice, spacious, with all the necessary facilities. It is great for group of adult friends or adult family. The rooms were clean, owners provided towels as well. Kitchen is fully equipped and cleaning stuff also available.

The location - unfortunately the apartment is located very near to a asylum's seekers facility, which means you meet a lot of very very poor people from the moment you step out of the apartment. It also somehow makes you feel a little unsafe as the apartment is on the base floor - we didn't dare to open the windows to the street at all. The terrace is based in the middle of buildings with neighbors above - even normal conversation between 2 people at night disturbs the neighbors and they don't hesitate to shout at you. The bathroom sewage did not smell ok and when we left the door open overnight the smell went around the rooms as well. Not sure if this is because the apartment is located right next to the river, however it was constant issue throughout our 5 days stay.

Superb

The apartment is amazing, the host explained the checking procedure to us clearly, and we even managed to get in early. The facility is well maintained and very comfortable with all the necessary utensils. Is a 15-minute walk from downtown, so it is very convenient and it is also close to a subway in case you don't feel like walking

The terrace door does not lock, and the location is not the best, but other than that we had a good time
