I loved the location.

Great location and apartment set up. Comfortable bed and bedding. I felt good and slept very well in the apartment, which was just sufficient for my needs.

The instructions for the key box could be clearer, but I could reach the host by phone to clarify the key box location. Note that the hosts are not responsive to email, and everything is very basic in terms of toiletries, shower curtain not properly installed (it's too long with too cheap of a rod that fell down and was hard to put up again). A kitchen towel would have been nice, and a little bit more sufficient supplies, but overall it was o.k. There is a heavy smoker below who smokes in the staircase, which could be bothersome for someone who is sensitive to smoke, as it travels up to the third floor and into the apartment hallway.

Not for people with mobility issues or a lot of luggage!

The apartment was spacious and the location was excellent. The washer and dryer was a plus! There were many good restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance to Grand Place and the Central train station.

The TV was non-functional the entire time we were there. The host had promised to fix it before we arrived but never did. We had problems working the stove top. The host came by and said that the problem was the skillet we were trying to fry eggs in was not compatible. He took both skillets and said that he would replace them but he never did, so we could only boil eggs for breakfast and it limited what we could cook in the kitchen during our stay. The bathtub was dangerous! It was very slippery and there was no rubber mat or hand rail. The apartment was on the 3rd floor and the stairwell was very narrow so it was hard to get luggage up and down. There was no elevator.

Great location, average accommodations, not special, not bad.

The property location was in a great area, lots to see, do, eat and drink nearby. If you enjoying walking this is the area to do it from.

We had difficulty finding the property. The address we were given was for a Wine Shop which was next door to the entrance to the property. When I called the Owner to ask him where his property was he proceeded to yell at me saying we do not give out our codes. I never asked for his codes, I had those, what I did not have was the entrance to his property so I could use his codes.

Really perfect

The location is in the old city, with plenty of restaurants and shops, at only 10 minutes by foot from Grand Place and 3 metro stations near-by. The view is indeed amazing, the room is big, the bed is very confortable. The feeling is like home, with beautiful furniture, a wardrobe, a big TV, a well equiped kitchen, a warmed terasse with chairs and a table. The location and the neighborhood are safe and quite.

It was a little cold one evening, when the weather was cold, and the warming in the room didn't function.

Nancy the host is very nice and helpful. The lcoation is excellent. The apartment itself is spacious and equipped. The bed is comfortable. The view is lovely.

Nice view but overpriced and cheaply furnished

Nice view of rooftops and spires but strong smell of cigarettes in the apartment. TV wasn’t working properly and in spite of reporting it promptly nobody responded for two days. Fittings are generally poor quality such as the shower rail falling down and the furnishings being cheap and sparse. Therefore found it overpriced compared to previous apartment rentals in St Cathrines.

Quiet, well located apartment.

Excellent location; very quiet; apartment freshly renovated and kitchen well equipped.

The stairs are just dangerous and a proper railing to avoid suitcases falling down the staircase would not cost much. A bit more attention to cleanliness in the apartment would be appreciated. New towels would also be appreciated. The alley is rather gloomy and dirty.

Lovely apartment near everything you need.

Loved the balcony. Quiet area. Near attractions and restaurants. Nice bathroom with heating. Very nice view.

Missing dishwasher detergent so had to wash up by hand instead. The room had no plan for fire evacuation and had no fire alarm.

Disappointing

Location

Booked apartment has been modified due to technical problem, the new place was supposed to be an upgrade but there were a lot of problem with it : some shutters not working, several light bulbs missing, door from bathroom taken out and left in room, wooden floor severely damaged in bathroom, unpleasant smell in bedroom, ... This place was definitely not prepared to welcome guests. Which is a shame as it has a good potential. Prearranged time of check in was not respected too.

Excellent place to stay in Brussels

Location is exceptional. It was a secure and private apartment with lots of space and a lovely balcony. The staff provided clear instructions for finding the place. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Very nice place, but the accident put a very different spin on the entire stay.

Unfortunately, the motion-sensitive lights in the alley way did not work one night. I tripped on the step just before the entrance door and dislocated my right shoulder. I spent half the night in the emergency room, where the doctors reset the arm and shoulder. I also had to curtail my trip and pay for a new ticket back to the U.S. It is an unfortunate accident, but the owners of the properties in the alleyway should be doubly vigilant about the motion sensitive lights.

Lovely terrace with the view of Saint Catherine church, in a great location in the city center.

We receive very clear instructions by email, with where to find the property, how to enter the gate and how to collect the keys. It was also very easy to check-out, without the need to make a specific time appointment with the host, that coming from abroad, can be difficult to schedule. We arrived before the schedule timing and there was the cleaner still there, but she was very kind and allowed us to put the bags into the apartment.

Everything was very good in the apartment, there was everything needed for the first days and we were able to buy from grocery what we needed. If I'd have to say something, even if it totally depends on the personal taste, some more pillows would have been appreciated :)

Great location, peaceful and comfortable apartment

A lovely apartment in a great part of town, it felt like a peaceful oasis in a hot and busy city. The terrace made all the difference in such hot weather and was a lovely spot in the evening. Many great places to eat nearby, easily walkable to some great sights and so close to the Metro - a great spot to explore from.

Four flights of narrow stairs were a bit of a challenge with luggage / at the end of a long day but no big deal.

Bright apartment in a lively part of town. Central yet quiet. Excellent choice for a couple already familiar with Brussels.

Extremely narrow stairs up to the 3rd floor were a minor inconvenience. Tableware and kitchen equipment adequate but fairly basic.

A nightmare and totally depressing

Nothing! It’s a depressing dump, one of the worst places I’ve stayed in for years. Bathroom below any acceptable level, everything grubby and shoddy. Hostels have better standards these days. The place is also smelly, I suspect a mould problem. Don’t go there! It’s like student digs from a horror movie….

Great place to stay for exploring Brussels!

Loved the location - not too close to the busy areas so it was a little quieter, but still walking distance to metros and tourist attractions, lots of great restaurants nearby. Well-equipped, with a full and functional kitchen as well as a washer/dryer. Overall comfortable place!

Neighbors could be a little loud, and smoked - the apartment itself didn’t smell like cigarette smoke, but the hallways did and the smell would sometimes permeate.

Great location and nice stay for a couple of days.

I really loved the location! It was easily within walking distance to a lot of highlights in Brussels.

The walls were really thin, so we could hear the neighbors above us. They woke us up at 4:30 in the morning. Also, I think some small things were missing from the property like hand soap and a trash can in the bathroom.
