Ideal for short stay

Small-town area. The property is easy to reach on foot. In theory there is a bus service nearby, but in practice everything is within a 15-minute walking distance — including the railway station. The river and nature are also close. The neighbourhood is quiet. The apartment is overall well equipped. Surprisingly, every window had at least a blackout curtain. The internet connection is Openreach 76/15 Mbps which is kinda okay if you stay inside. Everything matched the description basically.

Unfortunately, there were a few minor inconveniences. There was heating, but the thermostat controls are not very intuitive. Hot water is provided by small water heaters, which are not very efficient, but the main issue is their usability. The one in the kitchen heated water rather slowly — sometimes we had to wait 3–4 minutes. The bathroom unit, due to its operating principle, reduces water pressure: higher temperature = lower pressure. These are British peculiarities, but of the more inconvenient kind. The bed is not very high, and the mattress was very soft. We initially had problems with the internet connection, as there was basically no bandwidth at first use. My partner double-checked the provider’s device and its cables. After that the connection was restored, so it is likely that one of the cables or connectors is faulty and should be checked by the service provider.

Comfortable, clean and close to town and the beautiful walks along the river Ness.

Comfortable room with a nice well appointed kitchen. Bedroom comfortable and quiet. Host responded quickly when we arrived and had questions.

Parking was a problem. If you have ringGo app, you can pay for parking at the Glen Mor lot across the street. But we could not get the app to work for us (international traveler seemed to be the problem).

Dawn was very helpful and responded quickly to our queries. Nice, relaxed place to stay and very peaceful.

Great location. Nicely furnished, comfortable sofa in the living room and well equipped kitchen. Some hi tech features were a bit beyond us but we managed to get things working ok!

disappointed with my stay

when I was booking it on Booking.com it was reduced from £330 to £200 however I was charged £332-50 which was not my intention. when I told this to Booking.com I was told I should have taken a screenshot of the price,which was impossible as it said sold out .which leaves me £132-50 out of pocket

close to town centre

neighbours were noisy there was mouldy bread in cupboard so obviously not cleaned for over a week we cut our stay short because of noise , fighting , blood in communal stair way and on walls. pictures make it look good STAY AWAY 🤬

The location is excellent, close to shops, train and bus station. The apartment is clean and fairly small .. The kitchen contains all the necessary equipment for cooking. The bathroom is clean and equipped .. The TV is large and smart. The bedroom has a bed and wardrobe. The floor of the apartment is furnished with a clean carpet..

The entrance to the building is not clean and the carpets outside the apartment in the building are dirty..Some of the kitchen utensils need updating..it would be a nice if there was some water to drink after a long trip..also the apartment is self-cleaning yes there was a lot of cleaning sttaf but it lacked a mop to clean the floor ..
