Good location, quiet and calm street.

The house is very cold, by the way, I've had a super cold since I came in. The heaters in the accommodation don't work, only the furniture still can't handle it! Cold, very cold

Cosy, self sufficient little apartment.

Location is perfect. It’s situated on the River Ness a small walk out of the city centre so very quiet. Bus stop outside for Dores, Loch Ness for walkers. Short walk over the bridge for Rabbie’s tours of the highlands. Really hot shower, cosy bed and facilities to cook. Budget wise perfect for couples, solo travellers who want privacy and are self sufficient

Portable radiators not sufficient to heat apartment. A blow heater is needed. Luckily I knew this in advance and took my hot water bottle. Upstairs could be quieter in the early morning (ear plugs needed)

Small but close to city.

Location. Very close to city.

Parking was really non existent. We fluked a lovely neighbour allowing us to use their driveway. Unable to work the TV. 2 remotes. No instructions. Very very small apartment. There were 5 column heaters only one worked. No instructions for washing machine. Owner was very happy to come and assist with both.

Lovely stay in a cosy little flat close to Inverness centre.

The property was lovely, it’s small but clean and tidy throughout, perfect for a few nights away. It’s fairly close to town and a short walk to Ness Islands.

The shower could do with an update as well as parts of the bathroom.

Property is really well positioned for the town centre.

We struggled to get parked on arrival, maybe a permit to go with the property would help? We found the property to be cold? It wasn’t great weather and there is no heating, some wall heaters are provided but did not seem to work? Could do with a wine bottle cork screw by the way??

The staff were good at communicating and it was in a good location

The bathroom is severely outdated. From the photos online it looked fine but they didn't actually upload a picture of the shower. I didn't shower in it cause I felt like it would make me unclean. When we arrived at the apartment there was also 5 flies zooming about so I got the impression it was unclean too but it may be just windows were open while cleaning. The photos online make it look more modern but it's very tired with marks over the hall walls and wallpaper in the living room chipping away. The plug socket under the tv is also hanging off. It would have been nice to have a small TV in the room too.

A lovely comfortable apartment, well located.

Great location. Lovely 10 minute walk along the river to the city centre. In the other direction, walk along by the river to Ness Islands via the Memorial Gardens. Sweet little apartment, with tasteful decor. A washing machine and iron with ironing board is provided, should they be required.

The door lock was tricky. There were no Toiletries or Welcome packs as the photos depicted, which was disappointing. Communication by email via Booking.com, was not forthcoming as expected, a week beforehand. That was a little stressful after money had been taken out. When I rang the property owner after a few days, via Travelnest, she answered immediately and sent me directions via WhatsApp, which were very clear.

Cosy and comfortable

A lovely apartment for a short stay in Inverness with a well equipped kitchen, a comfy bed and great wifi. A quick and easy walk to town but not right in the centre - good if you want a quiet retreat at the end of the day. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple .

Disappointing

The shower - this let the whole property down - there was clumps of hair stuck on the wall of the shower from previous guests so its obvious this has not been cleaned properly. I sent a photo to the host - they just replied " sorry about that" The shower tiling and tray was very old fashioned and need replaced or regrouted as it did look unclean with mould The door lock was not easy to figure out so I felt unsafe as I was not sure the lock was working , The host after 2 days did send instructions to close properly - perhaps instructions could be in the flat. The parking - its is described as limited parking . This turned out to be no parking unless you had a permit or between 1800 - 0800am meaning having to be up early every day to move the car. Not ideal I left a day early as I really could not bear to be there any longer

Convenient location; bathroom needs work; grateful for washing machine.

It was within walking distance of the places we needed to go, and it had a washing machine so we could do some laundry. Also, the hosts were very responsive when we had some initial questions on arrival.

The bathroom was a little tired, particularly the shower which felt like it was in a cupboard. Also, we did have a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom. One other thing, having the entrance to the property right next to the rear bins area was a little off-putting.

A great cosy place to stay for exploring Inverness and Lochness.

Position in the town, close to the bank of the river Ness and the bridge to the Cathedral. The Ground Floor Flat.

We would appreciate to have: 1. A kitchen knife. 2. A washing line. 3. A Clear instruction that the access door is NOT on 1 Roseberry place but from MacDonald Street, behind the corner. There are four adresses with the number 1 on Roseberry place 1, 1a, 1b, 1c. But the owner sent the photos via WhatsApp which was very useful.

This Inverness flat was absolutely perfect and even better than I expected upon making the booking. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, had every amenity I needed and then some, and in a quiet location that was still a very easy walk into the main bit of town. The landlord was super nice as well, and responded quickly to all of my queries and helped me fix an issue defectively and easily. Could not have been happier and would eagerly stay again!

Not well taken care of

Fast response on booking chat. Nice little house with separate bedroom and living room/kitchen. We were allowed to check in early which was very convenient and kind. There is netflix on the tv and a washing machine/dryer we could use.

We are not very picky or high standard people, but this was not wat we expected… It wasn’t very clean, a lot of hairs on the ground, the bed, etc. The drainage wasn’t working as well. We had to wait the whole day or night before the next person could shower and couldn’t use the bathroom sink. We didn’t get any kitchen knive. After asking the host and getting told it would be brought, nothing ever came (even after asking again). So we had to cut everything with butter knives… We also didn’t get any cloth to clean the kitchen or dry our dishes. Last problem was the bed, after repeatedly putting it back the slatted frame kept falling out while barely even moving. After sending a message to notify the owner of these problems before writing the review, she/he never replied…

Relatively central location however, extremely cold apartment and outdated shower.

The property is in a relatively central location although it is still a 10 minute walk into the centre of Inverness.

Unfortunately when we arrived, we discovered two electric plug-in heaters which immediately raised red flags and wondered why they had been provided. We quickly discovered that the reason they were there was because only 1 out of the 4 fitted heaters/radiators in the apartment worked. The apartment was absolutely freezing and two plug-in electric heaters didn’t do much considering the temperatures in Inverness in December. I even messaged the host to ask how to work the fitted heaters, the response I received was that they are ‘temperamental’. This is not good enough, if you are aware the heating in your property is unreliable and does not work efficiently then it is your responsibility to fix this - not rent it out to guests and provide only two small plug-in electric heaters which don’t do nearly the same job that those fitted heaters would do. There is also a very good reason that there is no photos of the shower. It is extremely small, dark and dingy and we would not have booked this apartment if photos of the shower were provided beforehand. There was also no shower gel or hand soap despite the photos on booking.com stating there is. To add to this, there is also no salt/pepper or tea and coffee etc so make sure to take your own if you plan to cook yourselves, luckily we didn’t need as we dined out but surely this is a basic amenity which should be provided.

Great value, good location

Lovely clean, homely feel to the place.. Decent location, just over 10 minute walk to centre.. Really liked the idea of the amazon fire stick for YouTube, netflix etc on the TV. The apartment had everything you could need!

Contacting the owner - I tried to contact through booking.com on day of check in as we didn't receive any info on how to gain access. Got a reply by email that they only act as an agent for the owner but they did give me the contact number which led to us getting sorted! The shower - while the pressure was decent and quiet, the enclosure was small and dark. Parking - permit only parking nearby. We parked at the Cathedral car park for a good 24hour rate but it was just under 10 minute walk to the apartment.

Alright.

The location was good, close to the city centre, about a ten minute walk

I never received information from the owner regarding how to get into the property, we sat outside for a good 20 minutes trying to get in touch. I did receive an email but there was nothing attached! To which the owner rudely responded to when I reached out on the phone. There was food still in the fridge when we arrived. A smelly pork pie, when we opened the fridge door it smelled foul. The bathroom bin had not been emptied and the shower head really needs a good proper scrub, it’s grimy. Mould and mildew spray is great for that just a tip… Can hear every single noise from the noisy neighbours so it’s not that quiet.
