Only a couple of minutes walk from the fast-flowing and attractive River Ness, and five minutes walk from the wonderful Eden Court Theatre, in under ten minutes you can be sitting in one of the bars, cafés and restaurants on the banks of the river, taking in the views. You’re ideally positioned to explore the small city of Inverness, with its Eastgate Shopping Centre and pedestrianised High Street, its numerous shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes.

Nearby is the Aquadome, great for leisure and serious swimming, an ice rink, mini-golf and a children’s play area at Whin Park.

The River Ness offers excellent walks on both banks, leading to the Caledonian Canal and onward to the Great Glen Way. Day tickets for fishing the River Ness are available from the Inverness Angling Club.

The tennis club next door is open to visitors.

Inverness is a great base for golfers. Within an hour’s drive are Nairn, Nairn Dunbar, Inverness, the King’s Course, Royal Dornoch and Cabot Highland at Castle Stuart, as well as Fortrose and Rosemarkie, a lovely seaside course, which has been found to be the 15th oldest golf course in the world; while in Rosemarkie, in season, you can visit Chanonry Point and see the world-famous bottlenose dolphins.

A real advantage of staying at the apartment is the ease of exploring different parts of the Highlands. To the north you can journey along the North Coast 500; off to the east you have the coastlines and beaches of the Moray Firth at Nairn, as well as the world-renowned Culloden Battlefield; take in the Black Isle with its lovely villages just over the stunning Kessock Bridge; to the south~west is Loch Ness, do take a cruise to spot the elusive monster! To the south is the Cairngorm National Park, with wonderful climbing and hill-walking. The beautiful and haunting Isle of Skye is just an hour and three-quarters drive away. The apartment is easily accessed by car, and Inverness is well serviced by its airport, and rail and bus links.

The apartment has been finished to offer a great standard of accommodation that you will be happy to return to after days out exploring the city, coast or country. There are two good-sized bedrooms and a spacious shower room along with a large living room and kitchen/dining room.

It’s a double-aspect apartment with open views over the large carpark to the front and tennis courts and the iconic building of Eden Court Theatre to the rear. It’s bright and has a lovely feel and makes for an excellent base for a highland holiday.
