Stephen's Brae Apartment, Inverness City Centre

Great location, comfy bed and living room area

Kitchen was tight and the stools by the window ledge (for eating meals) were too high and made it uncomfortable to eat there.

The location was great, located right just a few steps from Eastgate Mall, City Center, and an excellent coffee shop right next door. The Apartment had everything that we needed.

The bed is extremely soft. We could literally feel the bed springs digging into our ribs at night. Also, there should be a handbook or at least a short information letting guests know where to turn on the main hot water (located in the living room, to the right of the kitchen entrance). This is not something that guests should have to figure out on their own or have to ask how to get hot water.

Zeer dicht bij centrum, maar nét er buiten. Erg leuk eet/koffietentje op 25 meter afstand en een hele mooie koffiecorner op 150 meter afstand in een kunstcentrum. Aanrader voor met z'n tweeën of alleen. Appartementje is echt compleet, leuk keukentje, met fijn woonkamertje, goede kleine douche, recent opgeknapt, netjes. Het appartement met nummer 7 ligt op de eerste verdieping.

Vermeldenswaardig: in Inverness moet je parkeren goed plannen. Je auto kun je op 10 minuutjes lopen netjes overdekt 24/7 parkeren (long stay Rose Street). En als je na 18 uur thuiskomt en voor 8 uur weer weggaat, kun je wél voor de deur gratis parkeren ;-). Kijk vooral naar de website van The Highland Council.

The apartment is well located. Upon entering, you'll be pleased with the size and having a full kitchen. The apartment was well cleaned. The refrigerator froze all of our food, but we adjusted it down.

This was a flipper apartment, where the owner has probably never lived. The remodeling was very DIY, and by someone with limited skills. There are no hooks in the bathroom. The sliding doors in the BR don't roll at all. One of the 2 bath towels reaked of mildew. We immediately requested a replacement, but never got a reply. The hand soap is the cheeziest cheap soap possible, and there is no soap or shampoo provided for showering. You'll be surprised to see the open wall behind the toilet. Really bad remodeling. Even with all of that, this isn't a bad place...it's just that the owners seem to be cutting pennies and not considering how it comes off.
