Lovely, homely, comfy, clean & warm

We loved EVERYTHING about the en-suite garden room! It was warm, quiet, super-clean, safe and very private. Parking was in the private driveway off of the quiet residential road, so it was quick to get our luggage in and out. The shower was lovely and warm with plenty of water pressure. There was a selection of tea, coffee, etc, and real milk in the fridge which was lovely, thank you. Now for the bed…. this bed was the comfiest bed I have slept on in my life!!! It was like sleeping on a cloud. If you’re looking for a lovely, comfy, safe place to stay then this is the one for you. We will most certainly be back! Thank you so much for a lovely nights stay.

It had everything you needed and more, I was really surprised how well equipped it was. Very comfortable bed and quiet area. Will definitely be looking to book again when we need to come down.

Cute, comfortable, cozy place with ok WIFI

I really appreciated having a little microwave, tea kettle, sink, a very nice bathroom and great shower. I also appreciated the snacks the host left for us. Very thoughtful. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated having a lock box with keys and my own parking space. We were also close to downtown, so it was a quick drive. I didn't walk it but it was possible, maybe adding an additional 15 min vs driving.

It was a pretty cramped room but the space was used well. I do wish there was some kind of fold-down table from the wall to put things on, as that would have helped manage the space better for little things. The WiFi was mostly unusable. I contacted the host about it and they rebooted the router but same issue again. I didn't want to bother the host again about it, so I lived with it. I was able to use the internet about 10% of the time I was there. I don't believe it's my phone, as I didn't have issues at other places I stayed, but when you are on a limited cellular data plan and rely on reliable WiFi to do your trip planning, it is a problem.

A great stay in a nice and convenient location, we felt happy there.

The hosts had been very thoughtful about all our needs. So many details had been thought about and provided in imaginative ways for quite a compact room. Eg, there was a fridge, folding stools and table and almost anything else you could think of. The slight downside was finding surface space for any of our things eg. Wash bags in the bathroom, or a book and drink of water on the bedside unit. A smaller bedside lamp could help there. It was a pleasant walk into the centre, we had a great meal in a Turkish Restaurant with equally great service.

We like to sleep with an open window for some fresh air, the Garden Room did not seem to have a windows which opened or even any with trickle vents, so we slept with the French door open, which made us feel a little vulnerable as anyone or any animal could have just walked in. it was fine though.

A cooked breakfast wasn’t included but had porridge or cereal available . Also tea, coffee , hot chocolate and biscuits and access to microwave . It was great that it had the cupboard and sink and not just your usual table with kettle on it . Could sit outside table and chair available .

Self contained en-suite double room in garden, with independent access. kitchen facilities…sink, plates cups and cutlery, kettle, fridge, microwave. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. Tv with many channels. Outdoor seating in garden/yard. Iron, hairdryer, folding stools and table to breakfast indoors in bad weather. Compact but very comfortable and thoughtfully arranged.

Ideal for an overnight stay in Inverness.

My wife and I stayed for one night. The property is in a residential area about 20/25 minutes walk from the centre on Inverness. It is a small lodge type building in a garden of a house. As well as a double bed and an ensuite bathroom, it has a small kitchen area with a kettle, fridge, toaster and microwave which allows snacks and light meals to be prepared. The host kindly left us some additional items. The room was clean on arrival. There is off road parking available. No issues to report.

Location of the property is good. The facility had all the basic amenities. Very good WiFi connection and we watched Netflix.

The room size is too small, not suitable for a couple to stay. If you open your bags you don't have space to move. I have been to Inverness earlier also, at this price or may be lesser you have better options. No windows, the door opens into a courtyard. You can only get down from one side of the bed, the other side is stuck to the wall.

Nice room, nice host, and a pleasant stay

The room was small but comfortable, everything was clean, and the room had a pleasant feel to it. There were plates/cups/utensils, a sink outside the bathroom, and a little fridge that actually came in quite handy. Checking in and out was easy, and the host was very nice to interact with.

The location is a bit out from the main part of Inverness and the train station, though walkable if you packed light and aren't super tired.

The room was lovely! You can go in through the garden so you don't have to bother the owner when you have to go in or out. It's small but it's got absolutely everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom nice and clean. We even had some tea and coffee! It's only 15 minutes away from the center and it's actually quite a nice walk there through the ness islands!

Review

The accommodation was sufficient and did the job however it was not really self-catering the sink and kitchen cupboards in the bedroom were no really needed. Not being able to open the windows made the room too hot and stuffy.

One night stop

Very cozy place, with everything we needed on the trip (even the iron and hairdryer). There is portable cooler, but the temperature was perfect for us, so we didn’t use it. The bed is extremely comfortable, perfect after the day of driving. in the fridge we found a milk and water. in the cupboard there were porridge and flakes for breakfast. The key box is very convenient, it allows to taken a key by yourself if you arrive late or leave it if you check out early in the morning.
