A quiet bubble of otherworldly luxury on top of a hill

Quietness on the top floor of a mansion in a big garden. Excellent. Friendly host, well-equipped kitchen, games in cupboard, huge spaces. Parking place on the spot, as well as charging facility. 2 fans provided to help tackle heat. Will definitely recommend the place, it's worth every penny.

Chairs not adapted for fatter people like me, so not very comfy for eating and working, and wifi very poor in bedrooms. Previous guests had left dirty pans and bin :( But compared to the pros, those are minor inconveniences. Major thing, though: the place is accessible on foot from Tilff station, it takes 20-25 minutes of climbing. Easier if you have a car.

Exceptional

Luxury spacy apartment with great views in an exceptionnel renovated historical house. Clean and safe for toddlers. Big bath and comfortable 1m80 bed + 1m60 in 2nd room. Well equiped kitchen. Cot available. The sofa is a die for. Super friendly and welcoming host! Plenty of good restaurants, supermarkets and food places (all kind of budgets) on 5 minutes by car in downtown Tilff. We loved to take a beer on the main square. Be mindful it's a 2nd floor but the stairs are easy. For kids, we recommend Forestia on 20 minutes by car. For a small hike, we loved the "hidden" Park de Mary in Esneux. For shopping, Liège on 20 min and Maastricht 30 min.

The magnificent sofa is a bit scary when you have a toddler :)

De ruimte is zo mooi en ruim! Echt nog mooier dan op de plaatjes. De host ontzettend vriendelijk en flexibel. Goed contact tussendoor.

Het was nu behoorlijk koud weer, maar we komen zeker een keer terug in de lente of zomer.

Heerlijk!

Het huis en appartement zijn gewoonweg waanzinnig mooi! Het appartement is schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien en luxe. Het was echt heerlijk! De host was ook ontzettend vriendelijk en stond altijd klaar bij vragen. De omgeving is prachtig. Er is genoeg beleven! Voor de kinderen waren Plopsaland en openluchtzwembad Piscine communale de Spa erg leuk!

Het was erg warm toen wij er waren. Helaas was er in de tweede slaapkamer geen ventilator. Daardoor moesten we met de ramen open slapen en kwamen er heel veel muggen binnen. Ook misten we een stofzuiger. We hebben twee kinderen en thuis stofzuigen we elke dag. Nu hadden we de hele week veel kruimels etc op de grond.

Betoverend en sprookjesachtig

Sprookjesachtig mooi gebouw op een fantastische plaats nabij Tilff. Mooi ingerichte ruime kamers. Moderne ruime keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook de slaapkamers zijn erg ruim en voorzien van goede bedden. De badkamer is voorzien van twee wastafels een modern ligbad en mooie inloopdouche. Alles is in perfecte staat en zeer goed onderhouden. Het uitzicht is geweldig en de zeer ruime tuin aangenaam om te vertoeven. De parkeerplaats naast het gebouw is ruim genoeg voor wel 10 auto's. Tilff en Luik zijn met de auto binnen 10 minuten te bereiken.

Voor mensen die wat moeilijk ter been zijn is de lange trap (40 treden) wellicht niet echt handig. Geen airco!

Geweldige plek

Schitterende locatie. We kwamen wat later aan doordat er een enorme file stond onderweg. De eigenaresse ging hier heel flexibel mee om. Het uitzicht vanuit het appartement is schitterend, net zoals de inrichting en de bedden. We komen graag nog eens hiernaartoe

De waterdruk van de douche is niet zo sterk.

Mooie locatie voor een midweek in de Ardennen

Goede bedden, de uitgebreide keuken en natuurlijk de prachtige ligging.

Door de grote ruimte is deze matig verwarmbaar (later vernamen wij dat er problemen zijn met het hybride verwarmingssysteem). De grote ruimte zorgde ook voor weinig sfeer (naar onze smaak).
