Our room, number one, was perfect for us with twin beds. Travelling from Australia there was room for our two big suitcases and backpacks.
The little touches of snacks was well thought out and having a microwave and small fridge was perfect for us to be able to cater for when we didn't want to eat out.
Having parking was perfect and it was a short walk into the city centre and attractions of York.
Be mindful, if you have mobility issues, the Staircase is a doozy and is quite a feat to carry big suitcases up it.
As someone else stated there was a bit of a smell from the bathroom drains from time to time.

Property was absolutely beautiful. Well decorated, clean and well thought out. Lots of extras included which were a lovely touch. Bed was comfy too. 15 minute walk into the city which was perfect for us. Great communication with the host. We didnt meet Ashley as we were up early and back later but that wasn't a problem. I knew I could message him had there any issues. Idea idea to have an honesty box with snacks and alcohol although we did not use this. We would absolutely stay here again.
One of the pillows was a little hard for my liking but not a problem and you can't please everyone!! I would honestly say that everything else was perfect.

A comfortable place to stay within an easy 20-25 minute walk of the heart of York. Friendly hosts and a large bathroom. Parking right outside is a bonus,
