Very comfortable bed, good insulation

Prominent sounds of footsteps up above

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean with fresh bedding. There is enough space in the room to put your luggage. There is parking available. The location is good as there are buses running towards the city centre. There are nice breakfast places nearby at walking distance. The doors are soft close, and that is so good as we don't hear doors banging noise when guests go in and out. We both were very happy with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back to this hotel. The hotel owner guided us to do self check-in by phone as we were not familiar with self check-in. We got the instructions via WhatsApp messages, which is greatly appreciated. He was very quick to respond to our messages on our arrival.

There is nothing that we disliked.

Location and parking

Nothing really, maybe more biscuits 😂

Easy to access, good self check-in service, able to check in any time from 2pm which was great as the motorway traffic was not good coming up. The bed was firm which I personally like and it was nice to have normal bedding on, made it feel more homely. Pillows were very comfortable. Tv was a good size so could actually see it. Plug sockets available if bringing a device for the tv, even have usb sockets which is nice. Little biscuit snacks were a cute touch. Owner was really nice and helpful. Parking available.

We stayed in room 5, and the only faults were that the walls and ceilings/floors are very thin and we could hear everything in the room above, so being woken up at 2am both nights wasn’t the best, but can’t be helped. Also the bathroom had a very strong smell of urine the whole time so have to keep the bathroom door closed throughout, not sure why because it seemed really clean other than the smell.
