Midway Guest House

Friendly staff, very good breakfast, very nice quiet room and confortable beds

The bathroom had some smell after using water

The shower was to smallyou couldnt move in it and door keeped coming off that was a big down fall for the property the bathroom was big enough fir a larger shower

The room was spacious with plenty of tea and coffee. Lots of toiletries available. Very comfortable bed with excellent pillows! A very cosy living room I wish I could have spent longer in! Breakfast was exceptionally good. Lots of choice, well cooked and presented. Free parking was a bonus. Communication with the hosts prior to checking in was superb. Late check in instructions were detailed and worked flawlessly. Hosts were very accommodating when asked if our son could join us for breakfast which was much appreciated.

The room was a little tired looking. It didn’t bother me but a lick of paint to freshen it up maybe? Could have done with a thicker duvet as we are soft southerners who feel the cold!

The room, probably the original attic, was odd but clean and reasonably equipped. The breakfast (not included in the original booking apparently) was good and very well prepared and presented.

The lock to the bedroom door was difficult; I had to seek out the management to assist. When unlocked, the door opening was resisted by the bedroom carpet. There was no en-suite and the shared bathroom was on the floor below. I never worked out how to activate the television provided in the bedroom!
