Very friendly hosts. The little things (eg small chocolates left around, toiletries) Ceiling fan Comfortable bed The soft throw! Good and easy check in and check out. Very clean bathroom - water was lovely Half hour walk to the centre of York. Free parking.

Beautiful house, very clean! Very quiet, if we were up in time we would have had breakfast as it looked amazing and good quality for money. The owners are lovely and very easy to talk to, very welcoming and funny. The bed is very comfy and I was blown away by the bedroom light as it remote powered and has a built in ceiling fan! The shower was great water pressure and you got a lovely complementary tea and coffee station with biscuits. There is a fridge in the room also which is great if you pick up any of your own milk ect.

There wasn't anything I didn't like

Lovely hosts. Room very tastefully decorated and clean. Loved the little sofa for reading. Good location, was able to walk to the town centre. Free parking available on streets. I would recommend and return if visiting York again.

On busy road, could hear cars during the night (but we live in a very quiet location).
