    The staff were very accommodating. The breakfasts and service was brilliant. Special mention for Karen and Jordan who were super welcoming. The Tuesday night pub quiz was really fun! Next time I plan to visit York, I will be staying here.

    The staff were very accommodating and breakfasts and service were fabulous. I like it so much I booked an extra night. The Tuesday night quiz is great fun. Special shout out to Jordan and Karen for making me and my friend feel so welcomed!

    Location was perfect for going to a weekend event at the Barbican Theatre. Also, the cafe up Marlgate Bar (gate) 2 minutes walk away was lush! Facilities in the room were very good. Clean, comfy. Staff very friendly and welcoming - with lots of local knowledge too to help you get around York! Parking was good and free until check-out which was perfect. WiFi good and free. Breakfast had to be one of the best I've had in a guest house or B&B

    Needs a bit of an update, you get what you paid for, could do with window sorting out ,it doesn't shut properly so very noisey, maybe a black out blind n wider curtains to keep the glare of the street light out room 4 ,
