Good value just outside central Ghent

Room was spacious and comfortable, with kitchen area.

Slight smell of cigarettes in the room, and check-in was a little tricky

Good hotel for a short stay.

The room was spatious and the beds were really comfortable! Having a built in kitchen is also a great plus.

Despite having reached out to me about the check-in time previously, once I arrived, there was no reception and we needed to call to have someone come and open the door for us, which took a few minutes. There was also only one key for the room, which was a bit annoying should we not be together the whole time.

Disappointing considering the price.

The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms feel relatively modern.

The location is not nice and feels pretty sketchy, theres no reception so you just need to call a number on a door and wait outside for 15 mins for someone to show up. The aircon didnt work, the toilet flush was broken, there were no plugs in the sink or shower, and the shower leaks everywhere.

It was easy to get from bus station, next to train station too. It has nice shops around to buy food and I like the little balcony with table for have sun bath

I was expecting a double bed and were 2 single beds with only 2 pillows, very basic and different of what I see in pictures.

The hotel has a lot of potential. The shower was great and bed was very comfortable. Location was good.

It felt unsafe. The type of people that are there are people you do not feel comfortable asking to be quiet when they blast their music in the night of talk super loudly in the morning. Also the housekeeping did not speak English or Dutch and woke us up 2 times. One time for asking when we were going to check out. I had to draw the clock and numbers on the wall for her to understand. Very annoying since we were got a check-out time and were going to abide by that. Why wake us up?! Also the room stank of sigarettes and I had to buy scented sticks to freshen it up, since the window was locked. We could not lock or open it in a different position than it was. Also the room was not very clean, glasses on the table had been used and there were hairs of other people in the bed.

Good for a quick stay

Marc was very nice and helpful since the beginning. although I booked a standard room he offered a bigger one and a very nice space. He also gave us the opportunity to make the check-in based on our arrival time.

The things we didn’t like at all was the atmosphere of the neighborhood. Not very nice people around. On the other hand, the noise from other rooms and the hall was too loud, we could hear everything.

Conveniently located, inconvenient sleep.

Location was great. Modern building and relatively clean room. Friendly staff available a phone call away, however, no front desk or such.

Unfortunately, although well located and having relatively modern facilites, our room lacked air conditioning and it was extremely hot given the summer sun hit the window all afternoon long. Even worse, we tried opening the window for refreshment, and ended up fighting against a few feisty mosquitoes. the pillow was not consistent, quite uncomfortable.

Good

The guy that owned it met us and was really helpful he let us park 4 motorcycles in his office. The apartment was spacious and clean.

Without being rude it's not in a good neighbourhood in Ghent but it is only a 15 minute walk into the centre. Just be aware of your surroundings and if late at night take a taxi.

Mediocre

The location was great. You have access to a decent number of shops and restaurants in vicinity. Another plus was the Smart TV with access to YouTube, Netflix and other streaming services.

The first thing that I want to point out are the ameties. In my booking confirmation I had Air Conditioning, but not in my actual room. The cleaning was a bit below the standards. The floor was not broomed and moped properly. And the toilet brush had pieces of toilet paper on it. In this price they could have included free WiFi.

Very good place to base yourself when exploring Ghent!

The owner checked me in and explained me how to get to the city centre. There was a fridge in the room. Good location being 5 minutes walking to Dampoort Ghent train station and 20 minutes to the city center.

Cleanliness and maintenance of the room were average, a better care for some little details could make it a very good property.

Waardeloos, prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is ver te zoeken.

De bedden lagen lekker. Voor de rest helaas geen positieve dingen.

De Hygiëne was slecht. Er was geen nachtportier. We hadden veel lawaaioverlast van de lift, waarvan de deur uit zichzelf de hele nacht open en dicht ging. Er ontbraken voorzieningen, zoals nachtkastjes, een handdoekhaak, een stoel+tafeltje.

zeker goed voor een overnachting na een avondje Gent

de kamer is groot en oogt mooi

de roede die voor het gordijn aan het grote raam hangt, hing los waardoor deze meteen op de grond viel toen we het gordijn dicht deden. Bij nazicht is de roede gewoon te kort om vast te blijven hangen aan 2 kleine nageltjes.. erg erg is dit niet maar het geeft ons een gevoel of wij het stuk hebben gemaakt, terwijl het niet goed geplaatst is. Dit zou ik zeker oplossen voor toekomstige klanten.

De locatie was o.k. kamer was best groot, faciliteiten waren ook goed.

De hygiëne in de badkamer viel tegen, en er liepen kakkerlakken zowel in de kamer als in de badkamer.
