Good property and room, nice and comfy bed. I appreciate the fact they have a vanity with a good mirror! And the LED in the room is a good touch.

The only thing is that there were some hairs on the pillow (both sides) and the owner took a while to get back to me regarding the code to get in the house. Other than that no complaints it was a lovely stay

in the area of Sheffield where I needed to be. Was on a main road, but easiy found parking on a side road.

Everything was amazing nothing let us down. Contacting the owners was easy and from check in to check out everything was smooth. Will book again if im back in the area

I don't recommend this place

The apartment had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the bedding was not fresh — it looked as if it hadn’t been changed, and the sheet was stained. Because of this, we had to cancel our stay and book a hotel room at the last minute. Communication with the staff was good, but they insisted everything was in perfect order. They offered us another room, but due to the foul smell throughout the apartment and the unchanged bedding in the room we saw, we declined the offer. Despite our complaint, we were not refunded except for the cleaning deposit, even though we had to cancel our stay due to the issues mentioned above.

Shambles.

The owner apologised for the shambles that was made and that made me miss a wedding ceremony! . And he offered to let me stay an extra 2 hrs after check out and not charge ,£ 10 per hr .

When i arrived there was no key In the key safe. It took 15 mins to sort out a key . Then I had to leave my belongings in an unlocked room which was clearly a room that had not been cleaned. Previously I was going from room to room with keys to try find a room. Im now late and missed the ceremony due to this shambles. When I returned at night to my accommodation I had to get another set of keys to room 2. Only to find me belongings were still downstairs in unlocked room 1. You can imagine im not happy . The pillows were hard and I was cold with hardly any bed covers . The manager came to my room at 10am. Apologies and only offers for me to stay abit longer free of charge if needed. I told him I missed the ceremony. He was more concerned about a bad review. I assured him it will be an honest review!

Cheap with free parking

The property looked and smelled fresh and clean on the inside. En suite bathroom facilities were good with a nice powerful shower. There was a good-sized opening window and an electric fan to cool the bedroom. Our host was a nice man.

The stairs were very steep. The bed cover had white stains on it, so I stayed uncovered. No tea making facilities in the room. We managed to get free parking on the side street. The area was unfortunately disfigured with graffiti.

It was a good price. I liked having an ensuite bathroom. Everything was clean and well presented. The shared kitchen looked well maintained and clean, although I didn't use it

Felt a bit unsafe as a solo female as the front door to the house was unlocked when I arrived, and my room was also unlocked. I felt like I needed to check the room to make sure no one was in it! I could hear the other people in the rooms talking loudly and it made me feel unsettled although everything was fine.

The bed was comfy.

The room was not as described and did not have an en suite bathroom as stated. The bathroom itself was actually on the first floor, meaning if we needed the toilet in the night, we would have had to climb a flight of stairs to use it. Although the bathroom itself was on a keycode lock, all residents had the code, so anybody could walk in while you were showering or using the toilet. On the theme of the bathroom, as it was a shared one, the plug in the shower was clogged with other residents' body hair.

Looks very old dated, steps where very wide at all and deep, (not good if you have problems walking), bed was so hard, lots of noise from traffic outside, parking is only Saturday/Sunday cause on a Monday you have to be of the street by 6:30am, so it not free parking at all, never got a notice about the key safe til I text to ask for, kitchen table was dirty when we arrived, no cups/glasses in the room,

Stairs to upper rooms steep and narrow. Shower in room needs attention as the water doesn't drain away - owner aware and repairing. No in room Tea & Coffee making - but there is a fully equipped kitchen downstairs.

Everything. I was promised an access code which never arrived, so could not access the property and had to make alternative arrangements at very short notice. It is a derelict building in a grim part of Sheffield with a For Sale sign outside. Should NOT be on Booking.com

The Goldilocks effect! Someone sleeping in our bed!! A shame as accommodation was comfortable otherwise.

Easy access to the property and quite centrally located although the area did seem to have a lot of homeless people who seemed to gather on Mount Pleasant Gardens opposite the residence. The room was comfortable and generally well furnished with a roomy bathroom.

The staircase to reach the room on the first floor was very steep with very narrow stairs! To our horror on arrival it looked like the previous resident had just left the room. The pillow had clearly been slept on as had the duvet. We removed the duvet cover and gave the pillowcases a sponge over. The toilet had also obviously been used as the sanitary tape around the toilet was broken and lying on the floor and there was a used towel on the bed. For the price we paid for this accommodation I would have expected better.

Convenient but expensive stay in Sheffield

Chosen for location close to event at Brammall Lane which was ideal. Clean and safe Comfortable bed.

Very pricey for what was on offer (basically double room with ensuite shower room). Didnt receive the entry instructions until afternoon of arrival (needed to rerequest) and deposit requested even though full payment had already been made.

The room was nice but our stay would have been better without the issues we experienced.

We were told we were being given the best room they had, which was Room 1 on the ground floor, so given a code for Lock Box Room 1. This didn't open the box so we tried Room 2 and it opened that box. The room was on the first floor which was not really a problem. In the morning the water was cold, I messaged the owner but didn't receive the reply in time to have a shower before checking out at 10am. On inspection in the kitchen the boiler was actually switched off so we presume no one would have had hot water whilst staying there. It also took a while for the deposit to be returned to us. There was no offer of a reduction in the rate for the room for having no hot water.

room in a house, not a hotel. very over priced and didn’t feel safe in the property

the property was clean and well maintained

the property was advertised as a hotel, it was in fact a house that had been converted into a “hotel”. There is no reception or staff to meet you when you arrive, everything is dealt through WhatsApp. When I paid the deposit, I had to do it via bank transfer and had to chase a week later to get it back, again via bank transfer. The bathroom was shared between the other rooms which didn’t feel safe. at first I was out in the ground floor room, which was a living room converted to a “hotel room” which had a bay window directly onto a busy Main Street. I didn’t feel safe in this property at all and for what you got, it was VERY expensive. would definitely not recommend
