The house is lovely. I didn’t see all of the rooms. I was a little intimidated so avoided meeting.

I disliked that booking.com did not send me the code or what room I was in. I was waiting at the door. I loved that that the owner turned up within 20 mins, carried my bag up and made me feel at home straight away.

Despite the room had an amazing fan put in by the owner, the room was still really quite hot. The curtains are black which I thought would be a good sleep but at 5 am the room was too light for me. Maybe that was also due to the lads chatting outside my room who woke me at 12 and 4.

What I didn’t like about this property are as follows Finding a naked man in the room on arrival Then seeing the naked man jump out of the window!!!! So don’t believe they have cctv because this man managed to break into this property with problems… Spent the whole night worrying this man would return… The house isn’t clean the tv doesn’t work… we were absolutely ripped off 2 room £214…..

Everything was amazing about this location ,a few minutes away from London road , our room had a very nice view , bathrooms were clean , host was kind and gracious.

Very cold and loud but at least big room

Check-in and communication was easy and we could get in earlier to leave our luggage in the apartment. The Appartement was spacious also the bed was big. The house has a fridge and kitchen

The heating was off over night, and so it was freezing cold in the room. in late February you should expect some heating especially when the room cools out that fast and easy. Combined with light blankets it was not nice. Also it was quite loud from the street outside, so we slept quite bad You cannot hang or store your clothes in the room.

Good value and clean. Convenient location.

Location was really handy for the city centre. The property is in a really cosmopolitan area with excellent choice of pubs, bars and eateries. Relaxed and casual feel in the ones we visited. It is on a main road so there is a little road noise but not massively intrusive. We found parking on a side street 30 seconds walk away from the building. It isn’t the Ritz and doesn’t pretend to be and prices itself accordingly. It is clean, comfortable and tidy with everything we needed for our stay. Good communication from the owners via email and text.

God awful!!!!

Awful place, if you think of the worse student house share then you may be close. Tbf I wouldn't have even stopped their as a student! Old food and rubbish all over the kitchen. The house stunk of fish as old fish had been left out! Music pumping and the surrounding houses had bars over the windows which tells you something about the area 🤯.

Definitely Disappointing

The bed was very comfortable , the bed linen and towels clean ..the room was large with an armchair and good size TV .outdoor area pleasant and tidy for a small town house .

The photos misrepresent the place .it is a basic accomodation with a very steep stair ,and needs a thorough clean of shelves and edges . Stair carpet didnt seem to have been hoovered for a while .Property on a busy main road ,so quite noisy . And therefore couldn't open the windows on a very hot night .No kettle and tea making in room.although this was advertised. Only powdered milk available .Room 1 is right next to the front door which bangs loudly when closing .More like a student air BnB than what I expect to find on booking.com

there was little about this property that I found to be attractive

this was my worst choice of places to stay. It was clean and warm, and yes there was wifi, which was good. The key pad number was sent 1 hour before I arrived, sent by email, which I cannot access on my very old phone. I did phone up and was given the number. But the signs sayiing all damages will be paid for, throughout the property, and the final message about being out of the property by 10am else a fee of £20 will be charged, is not very welcoming. The stairs were so very steep, and my room was on the second floor. There were no tea making facilities in the room, so I spent 2.5 days without a cup of tea. As I say it was my choice to stay, so the fault is entirely mine. I won't ever make thi smistake again

En suite bathroom would have been good? Would have really appreciated tea making facilities in bedroom. Kitchen downstairs, clean and functional. but stairs extremely steep, and potentially hazardous, particularly for the elderly, or those with mobility problems. I sleep badly, and to be able to make myself tea in our room, instead of having to negotiate such a staircase in the middle of the night would have been really appreciated.

Wouldn't recommend. It is very noisy and had problems getting into the property due to admin error.

The room itself was clean and the bed quite comfortable.

The parking is on street parking, the way it was advertised sounded like the property itself had parking. Us, and another party arriving at the same time, also didn't get sent the correct code for the key box or the room number so we tried for some time to open the boxes. The phone number on the booking wouldn't connect. We eventually got through to someone, after a long term tenant in the property gave us a different number. The other party's room had been double booked so they had to wait even longer and were given a room in a different house some time after. The room itself was very noisy as it faced a busy road and other tenants were shouting/arguing loudly and banging doors throughout the night. Some kind of beeping noise within the house went on every few seconds throught the night, too.

easy clean not bad for a shared house

the prices were put up the weekend we went, because I was looking at the Sam room for a month later and it was half the price so it was quite expensive for 2 people just for a room. BUT it was clean super easy to find felt safe and the bathroom and shower was spotless. we didnt hear a any other customers either and we had to walk right to the back of the house, thought it’d be abit chaotic but managed to get showers etc in the morning too.

could do with taking shampoos mouthwash etc out of bathroom if they’re not put there by the customers at the time looks a little unprofessional and you never know who you have staying and what someone could’ve done to stuff. imagine using the shampoo and it ends up being hair removal cream because some teenager thought it was funny. anyway just an idea from me
