Slightly isolated

Santorini s located in a perfect spot on the island. You get to experience a beautiful sunrise and then it’s a short walk to enjoy the sunset on the other side of the island. The staff are amazing. The room was perfect. The service is fabulous. The food is yum!! They have a boat so you can enjoy private snorkeling tours for much less money than you’d expect. And if you don’t like boats you’ll find turtles straight of the beach in front of the hotel. We will most definitely be back. Hopefully this year!

Road is a little rough

The view from the rooms is fantastic. The staff are delightful and very helpful whenever assistance is needed - the surrounding area is definitely quiet and a stark difference from the resort but thats to be expected with the location.

On our second day, my girlfriend started experiencing symptoms of food poisoning that was most definitely caused by the hotel - we had only been eating food and drinking fluids provided by the resort. It had reached a point where we needed to go to the hospital as things were getting worse and she’d need to go on antibiotics. The manager and I kept in contact over Whatsapp during our 4 night stay at the hospital and he had offered to send us a taxi for when we were discharged and returning to the hotel. Other than that, we had no compensation offered other than a 1 night room change and 2 free taxis to and from the resort. We had paid for 5 nights and were only able to experience 1 full one, being told that it we wanted to stay longer, we would need to pay even more. This was extremely disappointing.
