It is truly a paradise. We traveled with our parents. Everybody loves their room and enjoy the view so much. The view was even better than expected! It is quiet and pretty. No bloggers posting around, it is more for family and those who love the nature and culture. We love the yoga class at the pool in the morning, the silver class and cooking class was a lot of fun. Martin gave us recommendations for scooter ride around the villages and we tried reflexology therapy. We enjoyed all the activities in a very relaxing pace. We had all our meals at the hotel restaurant. We find the price was very reasonable too.

First time in Sideman and Surja Shanti Villas was a good choice. Very friendly and helpful staff , caring management team and very nice rooms. Sideman is very charming, great restaurants and beautiful rice fields. Very hilly for walking so hiring a scooter is recommended.
The breakfast was a little disappointing, although the restaurant was great for lunch and dinner.

The pool next to the room was great. The quite side of Bali, privacy.
We didnt like the smell in the bathroom, and the overall cleanliness is not so good especially when travelling with baby. I think I saw the white mold on the walls. The food in the restaurant is avarage so we chose to eat in other local ones in a few minutes walk distance. First dinner we had the water was soap taste and when asked to change it, server said it is the filter water taste (but it was just not properly washed glass). The staff was not very helpful with the luggage so needed to go back up and down the hill few times when I collected them.
