A resort for a relaxing stay that provides excellent facilities.

The included breakfast was abundant and delicious. The staff were very professional and friendly at all times. We took advantage of the dinner menu on several occasions to our high satisfaction. The nightly entertainment was excellent. My husband enjoyed his morning lap swimming in the large clean pool. On several occasions there was an excellent band that were very talented. This definitely livened up the evenings. Special attention was offered on Valentine's Day at dinner time.

Clean and tidy. Good location in Candi Dasa relative to the best restaurants and shops. Breakfast overlooking the Ocean. Good sized pool. Included breakfast was great. Wonderful "community" feeling, everyone is made to feel welcome and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Brilliant stay

Our last day of 7 at Bali Palms resort 🥹 & the staff have been absolitely brilliant. ATM restaurant & massage salon on site, reasonable local prices. Other guests friendly too. Laundry next door, fabulous Loaf Bakery across the road. Only a short walk to a selection of other restaurants, shops, convenience stores, more massage & beauty salons, bars, pharmacy etc After a minor fall off site the staff summonned another to assist my friend down the stairs & immediately relocated us to ground floor 2bdrm, 2bthrm unit, no additional charges.

It would be nicer if the towels were white not grey with age.

The atmosphere, pool, staff, live music and great food all made this place somewhere I'd absolutely book again.

The rooms are dated, floors dirty, bathroom cabinet doors all swollen and rotting from water damage, etc etc. The air-conditioning and door locks were both broken, but staff organised repairs immediately. Nothing that stops me booking again, and great price. But still, very far from great condition

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also good.

Our 2 bedroom apartment layout was very strange. We were a family of 4 that didnt mind sharing 1 bathroom. However, in order to access the 2nd bedroom, you had to enter via the bathroom. There was another way to enter the 2nd bedroom, but that required going outside and accessing the doors that way. During rainy season, using the outside entrance was not feasible. This apartment might not be suitable for travellers who are not comfortable with seeing each other using the toilet/shower. For Muslim families, dine at the restaurant at your own discretion as even though the staff say food is halal, there is no halal certificate and pork is on the menu.

The bedroom, washroom and toilet was spotless, ac working fine,, breakfast was decent, the pool was really clean as well. The staff were very friendly and polite.

Good clean room with nice view of the ocean. Ample parking for bikes. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Big pool.

Not a fan of live music night, especially when your room is right by the pool. Get’s worse when it’s open mic and people with no voice gets to karaoke. This officially ends by 10pm, but can drag on for a bit. People get to use the bar and get noisy until late and are load and inconsiderate. Cut our weekend stay short just to get away. There is no beach. There is a build in progress for a new boardwalk all along this beach. No access to the beach, you have to try and find access somewhere else.

Functional but would not be returning

Pool facilities were very good. Bar area by the pool was nice. Staff were helpful.

As soon as we entered the elevator the standard dropped immensely. Four birds nests were on the corridor we were staying on with one bird living directly outside our room door which we could hear constantly. The room was clean but needed a major upgrade. Dark and old-fashioned interior.

Budget hotel with a good pool

This hotel was good value. The pool was great and the kids loved it. The location was pretty good and walkable to restaurants and the lagoon. It is on the waterfront but note that you can’t get in the water here and you can’t walk along the waterfront.

The main reason I booked this hotel was because I was able to get a family room. However, when we arrived, I was told it had been double booked and was given 2 double rooms instead that were not right next to each other. This was quite disappointing and I would have liked to have been told this prior to arrival, when I could have found somewhere else more suitable. The rooms were ok, though had obviously been arranged in a hurry as they didn’t have sheets on them and once provided, we had to make the bed ourselves. The hotel is a little strange in that there are obviously some time share units so it feels like people live there, rather than just being on holiday. This also made it feel a bit like Benidorm in Bali. We had pizza in the restaurant for lunch and it wasn’t great. Can’t speak for the rest of the menu as we then ate out (can highly recommend Vincent’s for dinner).

We asked for a 2 bedroom apartment, for a couple + 1 child. We got a 3 bedroom apartment, but there was not double bed. Each room had a single bed or a king single (which is too small for 2 full grown adults). The kitchen was OK, but there wasn't really any cleaning equipment, so it wasn't practical to do much cooking ourself. The under cupboard were dirty and there was a hole in the drying rack section of the sink: any water there went straight in the cupboard underneath.

The breakfast was very basic compared to other similar priced properties we’ve stayed at. The staff were wonderful and were helpful and accommodating. We couldn’t fault the staff.

The level of cleanliness was terrible. I had to get a room change because the first room was so bad. Dark and dingy, windows dirty, gas bottle under sink leaking, surfaces dirty, dust everywhere. The second room was better with a great view but still not as clean as it should have been. I had to go over everything with my disinfectant wipes. It is a very dated, tired old hotel, the bathrooms are not pleasant and lighting in them poor. Photos on booking.com are years old and not at all relevant to how it is now. Very deceiving.

Good location on the main road, nice resort with a big pool area. Food and drinks were great and the service is nice and friendly. Studio room was spacious with nice kitchen facilities as well… and of course big balcony with pool and sea views.

Only issue was that bathroom didn’t have a shower beside the toilet seat

Upkeep and maintenance badly needed

The location was great, right on the ocean and the staff were generally helpful.

the property is very dated and in need of repairs. paint peeling, doors that don’t close, etc, worst of all the rooms had a strong odor of mildew and instead of moving us the staff just said all the rooms are like that. It looks like it was a nice place years ago, but they haven’t kept up with maintenance at all which is a shame
