How close it was to the sea, how fast they delt with the issue we had when we contacted them, also easy access to buses to travel around and get back up from the beach, and a ferry over too South Shields, shops on your door step, clean towels, clean bed covers, rooms seemed clean, and we had access to a washing machine what we used and worked well, also felt safe in building with code locks to get in and keys for the rooms, we live in a similar area so we was fine with locals and was great to be by a beach and get away for my sons birthday and he loved his time away

We had a issue in the first apartment, when we phoned the gentleman struggled to understand the issue, but once I explained in detail he moved us to room2, room 2 wasn’t fully prepared for obvious reasons, the internet did not reach over to the room so no internet, also beds in this room seem to very uncomfortable, undersheets felt very used, mattress felt bumpy my partner slept on the small single because he felt like he would go through the double bed with how much noise it made just with him going to sit on it (changed his mind and used single with no issue), not landlords fault just the area issue, but also a lot off addicts outside the building all day and night and dogs barking, and seagulls was very noisy (but we are not used to them) and smell of cannabis outside the building from someone local going out and smoking, also as a women I popped out to the shop and was followed back but two unsocial men throwing comments at me but once I got to the apartment and my partner came out they ran off the other way, our first apartment looks like a dog had been in there before us, what was not the peoples fault it dose state no animals so someone must have got one in without them knowing, but issues sorted by apartment change what was bigger, we did struggle with tempter with shower and left it on one that didn’t burn your skin off, but overall all just happy to be away and at a beach when it was so hot

Accommodated us at very short notice (1hr!) And everything as it should be. Hosts maintained regular contact to ensure stay was comfortable and responded promptly to queries
