Spacious Good location for shops and takeaways

Couldn’t use TV as I assume there was a background issue - could hear what was on but couldn’t see nothing as it was a black screen Pots pans cooking equipment unclean and needed washed before use Many light bulbs were out Door locks were not very stable and multiple times men were pushing their way in through the front door of the building Weird smell upon arrival throughout the building Very loud place however this can not be dealt with by the hosts Host messaged at 10.20 asking when we would be checking out as check out had passed and cleaners were waiting to get inside however their previous message said 11am for check out. Towels needed washed before use Bed linen was stained Burn holes in the carpet however it is a no smoking property Extractor fans were very loud

The apartment is a good size Hot water and heat are good The location is practical. The apartment is locate in a street with lock-up shops and small houses

Good location, very quiet area. Allocated parking really useful

Great location for our trip as we wanted to visit places up the north east coast. North Shields is quite up and coming, visit the Fish Quay for lots of restaurants and bars. Apartment at top of building so lots of stairs to climb but very quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay would return.

A map of the local area would be useful. We found Little Italy Cafe (very good food) on the first night after trying a few pubs where food service stops at 6pm. Eventually found the Fish Quay but information on this in the apartment would be helpful

Comfortable and family friendly

Kitchen was spacious and with all necessary things, Apartment was spacious as well. The place was clean. Wifi , Netflix/Prime Tv was available. Overall it was a good place, we would love to stay again.

The bath towels were small and smelly, there were no Kitchen towels.

was too noisy can hear cars and people talking, the bed was so uncomfortable can not sleep had to sleep on a sofa bed . other than that the stay was fine

The facilities overall where excellent and parking was provided off street

The host was uncontactable initially, which resulted in close to two hours wasted attempting to gain access via Booking.Com contact. Once the host was contactable, he delivered the keys to the address and all was good. The code given for the lock-box whist correct, revealed that no keys where in the lock-box.

it was surprisingly quiet for the area. we liked the idea of the self catering.

the Lock box was very difficult to open. and then we had to fight to put the keys back in when we were leaving. not a good system. we did our laundry, but after it was finished, we realized there was no dryer. not good

Really central location accessible for exploring the local area. Modern and clean flat and a great size for a family with children.

Pillows could be slightly comfier and more neutral bedding so it felt a little more sophisticated but overall it’s a great place to stay!

New and very clean, but no personal touch.

Absolutely brilliant location, a block away from the metro, a short walk to a bautiful selection of trendy restaurants at the fishing quay. The apartment block is newly built/refurbished, so everything is new and clean. However, while conveniently located, the area overall is anything other than upmarket, so caution should be taken, especially in the evening. Having the residential parking permit was very helpful and was much appreciated as there is no free parking nearby.

This is a clearly commercial investment, with no personal touch of the properties we normally rent, where owners take care of your stay and put individual touch on the apartments. Tea, coffee and sugar were provided, but not milk. There is a shop on the corner which is open late, this helped a lot. There were a number of issues with the property: the door to the master bedroom doesn't close, which was a major inconcenience when people go to sleep and get up at different times. On arrival we were missing a bed, even though I submitted description of the people in our party on Booking. com. There was no one available to offer help, and the number provided was not answered. The heater in the bedroom was making a knocking noise at night, keeping us awake. There was no teapot in the property, lucky there were 2 in the charity shop on the corner.

Good value for oney

Location is good, everything at the door step, 5-7 minutes drive to beach.

Bed sheet were stained and pillows were smelly, Luckily we brought our own bedings. Also freezer had old food items in it with smell in the fridge, had to leave fridge open for a while because of smell.

Very comfortable, extremely spacious newly renovated flat great for town, metro, fish quay.

Very comfortable flat and exceptionally spacious in an excellent location almost next to the town centre and metro station at top of road. Slept well in comfy bed. Great kitchen and bathroom. It was very quiet and there was a parking permit supplied and lots of on street parking outside the flat. We would choose to stay here again.

Crockery was a bit sparse. As we were so close to home bargains we just popped and brought extra things we needed. Key collection was at back of building and it wasn’t obvious how to get around the back. If i had arrived when it was dark I would have found this quite stressful and scary.
