The apartment is a good size
Hot water and heat are good
The location is practical. The apartment is locate in a street with lock-up shops and small houses
The kitchen had a poor selection of plates etc
The beds and furniture were not very comfortable - a bit basic

Great location for our trip as we wanted to visit places up the north east coast. North Shields is quite up and coming, visit the Fish Quay for lots of restaurants and bars. Apartment at top of building so lots of stairs to climb but very quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay would return.
A map of the local area would be useful. We found Little Italy Cafe (very good food) on the first night after trying a few pubs where food service stops at 6pm. Eventually found the Fish Quay but information on this in the apartment would be helpful

Spacious
Good location for shops and takeaways
Couldn’t use TV as I assume there was a background issue - could hear what was on but couldn’t see nothing as it was a black screen
Pots pans cooking equipment unclean and needed washed before use
Many light bulbs were out
Door locks were not very stable and multiple times men were pushing their way in through the front door of the building
Weird smell upon arrival throughout the building
Very loud place however this can not be dealt with by the hosts
Host messaged at 10.20 asking when we would be checking out as check out had passed and cleaners were waiting to get inside however their previous message said 11am for check out.
Towels needed washed before use
Bed linen was stained
Burn holes in the carpet however it is a no smoking property
Extractor fans were very loud
