Our stay here was very memorable! We won't forget it.

The property had everything we could ask for. It had a small but fully equipped kitchen. The bed and chairs were very comfortable. We enjoyed the wrap around windows and their view of the surrounding countryside, mountains and ocean. Overall, this is one of the best properties we have stayed at.

We had a truly magical stay at Isle of Skye Rotunda. We would return in a heartbeat.

An idyllic setting. Serene and stunningly picturesque. The views were breathtaking, and changed by the hour. From glorious sun rises and sunsets to watching the clouds drift by, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Watching the moon rise one evening was particularly special. The property design was so lovely and well appointed. Comfy bed, comfy armchairs, great shower. Far enough away from Portree to experience the out of way feel but close enough to be only a short drive away., serving as an excellence base to explore Skye. Thank you to our wonderfully welcoming host who has created this little slice of heaven.

Rotunda retreat

Great location and very clean well decorated property that’s very novel in it’s architecture

The ceiling window (the oculus) can be bright in the morning but ok if you don’t mind waking early (the owner offered a cover if needed) But it’s also very noisy if there’s heavy rain. Other than that it looks great and lovely feature

We loved the space, views, and hospitality of this place!

The view and surroundings are absolutely stunning. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch watching sheep graze while eating breakfast in the mornings. The property had everything we needed during our stay.

Spectacular views in a very quiet and cozy place.

The location was spectacular. The view from the Rotunda was mesmerizing and the sheeps as neighbours was a big bonus. I could not have asked for a better spot. The place was very clean and the host made herself very available. I have nothing negative to say about this place! Loved it :)

A fantastic place to stay on the Isle of Skye

The location is great with beautiful views. The Rotunda is superbly furnished and fitted with everything you need and was very warm and comfortable. Nikki was an excellent host, very helpful and on hand to give advice about the area. Thoughtful additions such as binoculars for watching dolphins in the bay were included.

Staying at The Rotunda is like visiting your modern and fashionable fairy godmother. No there's no pumpkin that needs turning into a carriage, or a glass slipper, but it's just as magical all the same. The waterfront view will take your breath away every morning, and the sound of gusting wind will lull you to sleep.

I enjoyed everything about the Rotunda. It was very clean, modern and well equipped with everything I needed. I really liked the extra touches from the owner like the binoculars to view wildlife and eye masks and midge jackets (if needed). The Rotunda was very comfortable and peaceful with the most amazing views. Even though it was close to other houses it felt very private and secluded. The owner was very responsive to communication, friendly and helpful with questions that I had. It was also conveniently close to Portree for supplies and fuel but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle. One of the most comfortable and enjoyable accomodations I've stayed at and I will definitely recommend the Rotunda to any solo or couple visitors to Isle of Skye.

Favourite Place ever

The view of this little lovely house is wonderful. We really enjoyed staying there for three nights. Nothing was missing. There are all kind of electronic devices to cook whatever you Want. The owners were really nice to us. We definitely suggest to stay here for as long as you can!

Great facilities, incredible view and amazing surroundings.

Nothing we didn’t like! Something to be aware of is that the property is a good 3 miles from the main road into Portree. We had a car and loved the fact you couldn’t hear any vehicle engines but important to note for anyone without the luxury of a car in Skye!

Wir schließen uns all den guten Bewertungen an. Es war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte auf unserer Rundreise. Wir liebten es auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und den Lämmern und Hasen beim Spielen zuzuschauen....und im Hintergrund das Meer. Die Unterkunft ist etwa 6,5 km von Portree entfernt. Die Straße ist neu gemacht.
