Too much furniture in lounge. Made it feel unnecessarily cluttered and cramped.

Very quiet and peaceful location, well off the beaten track. Nearest hill for walking accessible from the door. Comfortable and warm despite being an ancient bothy type dwelling. Nice little garden too.

The location was great - 10 minutes outside of Portree. The delightful cottage/ croft was charming and so much nicer than a soulless IKEA furnished place. The wood burner was a lovely addition and raised the inside temperature very quickly. The bath was great, after all the hiking, with plenty of hot water once the immersion heater had been turned on. The garden was fenced off, containing the dogs away from the sheep. A lovely little stroll down to the beach every evening topped off a great stay.
I suppose a slightly more comfortable mattress and pillows would have made it 10/10.

Het huisje was van binnen groter dan het er van buiten uitzag., en lag vlakbij een mooie baai
Wij hadden geen warm water om te douchen. Men was vergeten te melden dat het 2 uur duurt wanneer je de hot water button aanzet, waardoor wij op zoek gingen naar nog meer knoppen.
De koelkast hing van ellende aan elkaar, en het was niet bijzonder schoon,. Veel stof, spinnewebben en de vloer was echt vies, dat zagen we aan onze sokken. Op de 2 spiegels in het huisje zat een hele vieze witte waas, waardoor je niets zag. Verder was er een probleem met schimmel, met name in de slaapkamer, deze rook naar schimmel en er stond een luchtreinigingsapparaat aan.
Badkamer,, douche in bad was erg glad en de douche kop bleef niet staan als deze aanstond (had zijn beste tijd gehad). Toiletrolhouder was een vies ding.
