Tigh Lachie, Mary's Thatched Cottages, Elgol, Isle of Skye

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Tigh Lachie, Mary's Thatched Cottages. The cottage was beautiful, cosy, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful location in Elgol is simply breathtaking, with incredible views and the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye. We would highly recommend Tigh Lachie to anyone visiting Skye and would love to return in the future. Thank you for helping make our holiday so memorable!

This was a wonderful property, beautiful, cosy and lovely surroundings! John was amazing and helped us so much during our stay!

The Cottage was absolutely amazing, the best we’ve stayed at during our long trip around Scotland this Christmas, Our Doggo Maisie absolutely love it too as it was so quiet! Which is really nice as she’s such an anxious dog so to see her so settled and in her element was amazing for me & Charlotte. They even gave us a blanket our Doggo & some Christmas treats for her too which she absolutely loved! Exactly what we needed! The owners provided everything we could possibly require for a comfortable stay, including an entire kitchen setup for cooking & perfectly heat regulated rooms! Bathroom was spotless, Linen Clean & not too mention cosy too! It was wonderful to see the snow falling through the window on the last day; which just added to the Magic. ✨ Really we couldn’t ask for more!

Nothing, Everything was Perfect!! Not a single fault with this place & the owners are clearly very dedicated to providing a fantastic service. WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
