Wanted to get away from the fireworks due to my dogs not coping with the noise. This was a fantastic choice!! So peaceful and the views were insane. Perfect size for me and the dogs. Will definitely be back!

We had a bit of a testing journey to get to the cabin as we were travelling in October just after Storm Amy had crash landed on the islands. It was dark, very wet and very windy and the roads are narrow and unlit. However there was a very welcome wee dram of whisky waiting which definitely calmed my nerves :) ... such a lovely touch from the owners.
When we woke the following morning we were totally blown away by the stunning views from the panoramic windows. The living room looks down onto the tiny harbour in one direction and across to the Cuillins from the other. We had sightings of two golden eagles on both days too!
The bedroom also looked out onto the mountains and the bed was the comfiest we'd had during our road trip.
I can't fault the accommodation at all. It was just perfect.

Location was stunning! The tiny house was amazing combination of cosiness and functionality in such a small place. A lot of attention to the details.
The access to the house is downhill a very steep country road that we had to climb back - luckily our car was full traction. As the place is quite remote from shops and cafes, we missed having coffee and a snack in the fridge.

This little house was in a perfect location to provide stunning views, we lucked out with a beautiful 23 degree Celsius sunny day. Our hosts provided everything we needed, including a lovely wee dram. The drive is a good distance on single lane windy roads but well worth it when you get there! We loved watching the comings and goings of the harbour from our porch. The location is quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of the Isle of Skye.
That we couldn’t stay longer

OMG, this tiny home was amazing. Staying here on Skye was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The view was to die for, we never even considered turning on the TV. We spent the evenings watching the sunsets over the water and mountains. I can't wait to return. Now the specifics.... the home is indeed small, but nicely laid out. The bedroom is up a set of stairs and the firm bed is low to the floor. There are large boxes under the bed for storing clothing, which worked well. We put our luggage in the car. There are a few un-carpeted stairs which can be slippery in stocking feet and no handrail so descend cautiously - we didn't have a problem. The bathroom is interesting with the toilet/sink one one side of the hall and the shower on the other, good use of space. The kitchen in small, but well equipped for cooking. Frazer and Emma even left a wee dram (thank you)! The location is a bit out of the way, about 1/2 hour south of Broadford where you will need to stock up on groceries. The drive is on narrow roads with plenty of sheep to make it interesting. We will definitely stay here again!
Absolutely nothing.

There is so much to like. The incredible views are standout, even for Skye. The drive to Elgol also includes some exceptional scenery. The property is well thought out, warm and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I loved watching the fishermen at work in the distant harbour, and the fluffy sheep migrate down the hill every evening. It's quiet and peaceful. The hosts are warm, thoughtful and available if needed.

Beautiful space situated in the most idyllic setting, you couldn’t ask for a better view to wake up too.
That we had to leave.

Our stay couldn't have been more perfect. The tiny house is beautiful, chic, comfortable and cosy. We seen the brightest rainbows and shooting stars. Immaculately clean and had all the essentials we needed. Lovely hot shower, TV netflix and cosy fire. The guest book is filled with testimonials from guests from around the world raving about their stay. I would say it was a perfect size for the two of us and the dog. We left the kids with grandparents.
The tail end of Storm Darragh was passing on our first night and it was quite loud while sleeping, but that's just the nature of this type of build and I wouldn't expect less in the exposed coast line. The second night all was calm and dreamy.

It was definitely one of the most beautiful and unique acommodations we have ever stayed in. The location, views, and the functionality of the tiny house were amazing.
The sofa bed is not the most comfortable to sleep on. The place is ideal for 2 people but, despite this, we loved our stay.

No mirror for drying your hair or clothes storing facilities other than that perfectly thought out

Amazing location and stunning view.
Despite other guests comments there is still no where to put any clothing in the bedroom - there is plenty of space to put some hangers on a wall and in cleaning cupboard and maybe some small drawers. I’m not the type of person who enjoys scrabbling around the in the bottom of her luggage for a clean set of pants!
Impossible to blow dry hair as no mirror by any plug socket as the only mirror is above the toilet which makes its impractical to use for contact lens, shaving etc . These are simple things which could be changed in half a day which would enhance guests facilities and practicality of living in a small space.

Cabin was in an amazing location and laid out perfectly for such a small cabin plenty of room for a couple and our 1 year old. Very quiet surroundings great place to escape and relax
Being critical cabin could maybe do with a wardrobe however don't know where it would go just saves living out a suitcase

The views were incredible and it had everything you need for a short break!
We were lucky enough to have good weather during our stay and the cabin did hold the heat overnight which made it a little uncomfortable.

The views were incredible, we loved sitting there and taking it all in. The cabin had everything you needed.
The only negative was that the cleanliness was patchy in parts, e.g. crisps crumbs all over the outside table and the fridge needed a clean.

The view of the Cuillen Hills is amazing. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, inviting and helpful. The cabin is a cute mini home w some nifty touches. Home grown eggs and lovely pets added to the ambience to this super lovely place.
The space was a little cramped for 2 independent travellers. The second bed was the couch. But the view and really helpful and lovely hosts made up for any problem.
The sign to the property could be clearer to avoid feeling lost.
