A nice and convenient stay

Place is modern and clean. Very spacious. Great location to/from airport. Self checkin was easy and appreciated so, when arriving from airport at 1am. Eurospin supermarket one block away.

Its on a commercial street, not much of a view but its the best location to get to the airport.

good budget option for a short night stay

Very helpful staff, provided vry detailed recommendations on how to check-in/check-out , you can communicate via WhatsApp Big room , comfprtable bed, airconditioner, wi-fi, electric kettle set, tv, smart tv, shower. For late night arrivals : if to check the map - it's not very far from the airport, and it might seem like you can walk yourself, but if you don't know the area the classic walking route based on google maps is 1h40m - not a good option for night walk ))) So better discuss the transfer options in advance with Hotel staff or find your own. Uber is possible, but it's not very easy to catch the driver late night to Fumicino area. Official airport taxi might be not a cheap option.

Clean and convenient - welcome after a long international flight!

The Malu House is spotlessly clean, and well stocked with amenities. The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and has good pressure. The location is conveniently close to restaurants, a grocery store, a bus stop, and the airport. There is no on-site parking, but there was on-street parking available right outside the facility.

I am a light sleeper, and due to the proximity of the airport, there is the expected noise. The curtains helped to darken the room, but they are not 'black-out' curtains. If you are a light sleeper, simply bring your earplugs and eye mask to compensate.

A comfortable basic room for a layover.

A very comfortable bed! After a long journey this was a good place to rest before moving on to the rest of our trip. The operator was very communicative and helpful!

We arrived well after midnight and getting to the property, despite it's close proximity to the airport, was surprisingly difficult with few options at that hour, and very long lines. (Two hours to get a taxi or uber for a five minute ride that costs 35 euro?) This is not the fault of the property in any way, they're great, just something to note for overnight arrivals.

Perfect for our needs the night before a morning flight from Fiumicino. Spotless, comfortable, generous breakfast and drinks. Owner was very clear about instructions for getting in, provided us immediately upon request with info re taxis and meals. Right near airport. Great value for money.

DONT STAY HERE. It was the worst experience of my life for accommodation.

Manager called the police and 7 police came into my room. Felt uncomfortable all night as heard noises of people in the house. Thought it was other guests as big place. Loose wires in room also a hazard. I’ve stayed in over 100 countries and this is by far the worst experience ever.

We love this place

The room is clean and beautiful. The host is very nice, and he helps us a lot to get there. We enjoyed everything that he prepared for us!

It is close to the airport but it is not within walking distance. But this is not the owner's fault. I believe that the airport needs to work on more means of public transportation.

Amazing service, very comfortable stay!

The team was amazing and SO ACCOMODATING! I booked this as it is SO CLOSE to Fiumicino Airport, and I had a layover. I had issues with the time of my flight the next day, and they offered me to do a very late check-out and even leave bags at the venue afterwards if I needed to. No extra charges. Very helpful and responsive. The fridge was stacked with goodies; everything was absolutely top-notch. Amazing service, comfortable stay!

Our stay was more of an inconvenience than an amenity

We were not given check-in instructions. We arrived to a locked property that nobody would answer the doorbell for. Aside from the address placard, there was no signage to indicate this was the right. I called to attempt to check-in, said “Hello, we are here to check in” and I was hung up on. I then downloaded Whatsapp so I could text the owner, who finally responded and told me a door code to use. I am glad this happened when it was still daylight because this would have been very unsafe if we were stuck outside a random gate in the dark for 20 minutes. The hot water heater was not functioning and we were not able to take a warm shower. Being so close to the airport, we expected information on how to acquire a taxi or other transportation to get us to the airport. It was nearly impossible to acquire a taxi to this location. Repeatedly taxi-drivers would cancel on us when they received address info despite being 5 min from the airport. Download Uber if you want to have any luck actually getting a ride. Uber doesn’t work in most places in Italy, but at least it did here.

Nice place near airport

This was a nice place to stay near the airport for flying out the next day. The communication was good with the host. Well stocked and clean. If you need a lift to and from the airport be sure to ask host for Paola's information. She was amazing!

It was not where I would stay if I wanted access to the touristy things. This was the end of our trip and we basically only slept there before flying home. If there were things nearby we would have gone out but that's our own fault for not knowing the area.

Great for the airport

Nice room and decor - I was staying there because it was close to the airport. They organised a taxi for 04.15 for me which was great considering I couldnt have done it.

The wardrobe is right under the aircon unit - maybe swap the bed and wardrobe. It's just a small thing.

very affordable place to stay before the flight, a short taxi ride from the terminal (typically 15 Euro) Good bed, very clean place. The owner was very nice : gave us a ride to the restaurant, arranged a taxi for the morning to get to the airport Decent Japanese restaurant in walking distance.

Shower faucet leaks, probably needs replacement Hard to find other means of transportation beside taxi Surrounding area is mostly an industrial zone.
