Great choice for a quick stay before an early morning flight

Perfect for what we needed. Low amenities, but it is a solid spot to book for an early morning fight to reduce stress of finding your way to the airport from central Rome. Hospitality was top-notch.

This is a boutique hotel with 5 rooms rented on a daily basis and two apartments for longer rentals. It is gated for extra security. I would rate this establishment as excellent in all categories - communication (especially regarding the shuttle service), the shuttle service to Fumicino for 15E per trip not per person a was very welcome. The room was a very comfortable size. Breakfast service began at 7 am and was provided in the breakfast room/lounge/kitchen with good selection of items. There was no kettle in the room, so I used the kitchen to make a tea in the evening. The bathroom was spacious. We had a balcony, with table and chairs. There was a bistro style setup and lounge area in a private area outdoor. A very large armoire in the room for storage. A weigh scale (handy to weigh luggage). The bed was very comfortable. There is no elevator but our host took care of our bags in the building and while using the shuttle service. The desk with chair has multiple outlets available for charging the electronics. The television was small however the selections were the best. The decor was beautiful and the building was very clean. Luca picked us up at the airport, took care of our luggage, then delivered a hot drink and a snack to our room. I would highly recommend Sleep and Fly Rome Airport. The staff has taken into consideration that their clientele are mostly travelers and provide a service which caters to those needs. The shuttle service starts at 04:30!

A great find! We will be back.

It was the perfect place to stay before taking a flight out of FCO the next morning. A darling room, clean, modern and convenient. Luca was very nice. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, and even brought coffee and pastries to our room in the morning, since we were leaving before breakfast was served. The location was great. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, and Luca gave us a helpful list.

The water in the shower could have been hotter.

Luca, the host, is very friendly & speaks excellent English. We were slightly early for check in but our room was ready. Very comfy, large bed & well equipped, modern bathroom . Shuttle early in morning to the airport was so handy- 15 euros.

There was some noise from the airplanes, and the hallway between guest rooms is a little loud.

Super close to the airport in Rome. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. Very convenient airport shuttle provided that was punctual! Hotel staff able to answer any questions about the airport, including location of VAT tax refund office. Several good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel

It’s proximity to the airport. Perfect for an overnight stay. The owner Luca goes above and beyond to insure you have a pleasant stay. From picking you up and returning to Rome airport to personally making sure you are comfortable he is an excellent host.

Perfect for an overnight near the airport

Luca runs this small establishment very efficiently. The room was spotless and he lent us a kettle and two cups so that we could make a cuppa in the evening after our meal. He has a list of restaurants in Fiumicino and directions to walk there. There is actually quite a bit to see but as it got dark soon after 5pm we could not explore as much as we'd have like to. Luca runs his own shuttle service to/from the airport - you can see why. According to google, there is a local bus from the airport that runs past his accommodation. But when you eventually find the (one) bus stop from which all Cotral buses depart there is no timetable whatsoever! So the shuttle it is.

Excellent one night stay

What an remarkable young man Luca is. Picked us up from airport, and dropped us off in the morning for a small fee of 15 euro per trip not per person, gave us restaurant suggestions and couldn’t do more for us if he tried. The location is perfect to get into the front River area where all the restaurants are and for a one night stop it’s the best. The rooms are very modern and comfortable.

A Perfect Stay If Flying

We had 1 night here before our flight back home from Rome and this was the perfect stay! I wouldn't stay here if you're exploring Rome for a few days but for proximity to the airport for arriving/leaving days it's perfect (: The host was so nice and helpful, we used his airport shuttle 2 times, it is so close to the airport and it's great they provide this affordable paid service! He even took us on a short drive down the strip pointing out good restaurants etc. Would recommend!

Because of the proximity to the airport they do fly right overhead and it can be noisy. It didn't really disturb us though with the windows closed and it's kind of the price you pay for being so close! Breakfast is just okay but nice they offer anything at all (:

This property is a pleasure to stay when transiting through the Rome airport.

The location was excellent as a over night stay between flights. Transportation to and from the terminal was excellent and very good value. The breakfast was superb and there is a fine Italian restaurant across the street that is open until 10:30 for dinner after a late arrival. Luca, the owner, was very accommodating, super friendly and a pleasure to be around. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and there was lots of hot water.

This was a reasonably priced room near the airport prior to our early flight out the next day. The host was excellent, cheerful, and attentive. The room was fine, and there were good restaurants nearby. The breakfast and shuttle were perfect for our needs.

This was a "get what you pay for" situation. We didn't expect Amalfi Coast views. We expected convenience to the airport and a nice meal the night before we left. No negatives.

Hidden gem in Fiumicino

Location not bad, just 10 minutes from the airport. The facility is super-clean, quiet, well kept and well managed. Luca was attentive, committed to detail, with the expert knowledge of the town and the surroundings.

Very convenient to the airport. Luca picked us up in his van and took us to the apartment for a restful night before heading home in the morning. Restaurants were close by for a nice evening meal. He drove us at 5:45am back to the airport and was wonderful.

Perfect location for an early morrning flight!

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. We had an early flight out the following morning, and the Sleep and Fly was perfect! The check-in was easy and quick. We arranged at check-in to be dropped off by the hotel van at the airport in the morning for our flight. The hotel manager gave us walking directions and suggestions for several local restaurants for dinner. The hotel also served a lovely breakfast before we left in the morning.

Clean and comfy place to stay near FCO airport!

The place is close to the FCO airport, it has a shuttle to/from FCO. The place is fully renovated; AC and furnitures, floor and walls are brand new. The bathroom is clean because it is brand new. Above all, the excellent customer service of Luca. Overall, I will definitely stay at Sleep and Fly Rome Airport again.

Sleep and Fly Rome Airport is a fabulous option for a one night stay.

Luca was an excellent host who communicated extremely well with us at all times. The directions to catch the shuttle bus were clear and the service was great. He advised us where to get a good meal on arrival and provided a lovely breakfast in the courtyard.

The room was large and bright, very good size comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Nice restaurants easily reachable by foot and the river 10 minutes walk. The shuttle service to and from the airport was efficient and cheap. Luca was very welcoming and gave us a lot of information about the area.

Quaint bed and breakfast near airport and downtown Fiumicino with balcony and great breakfast to start the day. A short walk to a nice supermarket and bus station. Many restaurants and great food! Luca is an outstanding host and gave great suggestions on how to get around and what to do. Shuttle to airport is available and easy. Made our short stay in Rome with morning flight very stress free. When I return I will definitely stay with Luca again!

Luca was very nice; he provided a great check-in/out experience, a good breakfast and shuttle service. He even had great restaurant recommendations for eating dinner in town.

Water temperature fluctuations during showers. It would get freezing cold within a few minutes of showering. We also happen to be in Fiumicino during summer and the room didn't cool sufficiently with the a/c.
