Good but not as nice as what was advertised

Beautiful suite, with an excellent view on the castle. The staff and breakfast were lovely.

We booked the room with Sauna, but the room did not have a sauna, but rather two infrared heated chairs in a separate cabin in the bathroom - very disappointing!

Beautiful part of the business trip

Great place, right in the centre. Interested in adapting an old building to a very modern and comfortable hotel. They have their coffee blend, and we tasted it even from the room with a very good coffee machine. Cozy, quiet, and very well-furnished room. The same was the breakfast place. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Definitely will stay there again.

We didn't know there was no parking in the hotel and made a few circles around. But get help quickly by phone from the hotel. For me, the only minus was the pillow. I expected to be more comfortable.

Everything- incredible hotel. I was in their smallest room and it was at least 25 ft by 10 ft. Huge walk in shower. Hotel 3 years old- looks like it opened yesterday. Wonderful staff. This is my 25th trip to Europe- in top 3 of any hotel I have ever stayed in.

Platzhirsch Kufstein was delightful. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the breakfast add on! There were so many personal touches, little gifts from the owners, that made this stay a 10/10.

We needed a break on the way from vacation and Platzhirsch in Kufstein was a great choice. It is modern, clean, well equipped and right in the historic center. The staff was very accommodating and polite. We even got free tickets to Kufstein Fortress!

Friendly and personal reception at the front desk. Immaculate condition of the 1 year old hotel. The original house was there sind the 13 hundreds! Oldest house in town right in the middle of the old city center. 5 min walk to the fortified castle on top the rocks.

Real diamond

Hosts are really kind and helpful. The cleanliness is unique, the whole interior reveals a special attention for all of the tiny details. Quality is the most important aspect of all equipment. (e.g. Coffee maker with coffee grinder.) We come back. (After half past eight only the Greek restaurant has kitchen nearby, but it provides exceptional quality, too.)

Comfortable and chic stay in a lovely hotel.

The hotel is stylish and staff lovely. the coffee machines in the room have real coffee beans - a first for us. The location was great and overall we loved it.

A hidden gem

Great location, staff and café on the first ground. The apartment was HUGE and the noise was extremely well isolated, as you could hear literally NOTHING from the quite busy city square below with restaurant terraces, as well as within the apartment. Bathroom and the kitchenette were very comfortable including bathrobes and coffee machine and the entire building is fairly new after very carefully reconstructing a historical building (includes even the elevator which is great when you have a stroller).

We really liked the place - maybe I’d recommend having also a high chair for babies and perhaps slippers would be also nice, as well as cotton pads. Otherwise perfect!

Völlig überteuert

Großes Zimmer. Alle Getränke und Snacks kosten extra. Das Frühstück ist gut. Halb-durchsichtige Wand bei Bad und Toilette gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Bahnhof ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

In der Beschreibung steht: "Fenster zum Innenhof". Ich hatte nicht damit gerechnet, dass das Zimmer im 1. Stock noch unter dem Innenhof liegt, sodass man quasi aus einem Souterrain auf den Innenhof blickt. Durch die meterdicke Mauern fällt kaum Tageslicht ins Zimmer. Auf Nachfrage erklärte die Empfangsdame schnippisch, dass wir nun mal ein Economy-Zimmer gebucht hätten (für über 200€!)- Wenn uns das nicht gefällt, sollen wir doch nächstes Mal ein Superior buchen. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrich: Wir wurden von einem Silberfisch im Zimmer begrüßt und unter dem Bett ist schon eine Weile nicht mehr gesaugt worden.

Tolles Hotel für eine (kurze) Auszeit in Kufstein

Hier stimmt einfach rundum alles: beste Lage, erstklassiges Personal (überaus zuvorkommend und dennoch nicht aufdringlich), grandioses Frühstück, geräumiges Zimmer mit wunderschönem Bad und super bequemen Betten. Waren nur 3 Tage vor Ort, hätten es aber problemlos länger hier "ausgehalten"

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und leckeres Frühstück ala Carte. Das Personal war super freundlich. Wir waren eine Nacht auf der Durchreise dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Parken konnten wir im gegenüberliegendem Parkhaus.
