Appartement de Prestige - Grand Varenne

This apartment had the basics and nothing more. It had a fridge and kitchen with coffee maker, coffee pods, tea, as well as some cookware. There was toilet paper, tiny bottles of shower gel, conditioner, and towels. It was in an excellent location and it is quite a large space which made our stay comfortable.

There were some damages to the property that didn't hinder our stay, but it seemed that only the bare minimum was done with the apartment to keep it running. One of the heaters didn't work and had cords and wires hanging from it. In one of the bathrooms the drywall was cracked and hanging off the wall. The impression from photos said luxury, but this apartment was just basic with not much heart. It was also not very clean. We found dust and hair on the bathroom shelving, garbage bins, night stands, etc. I would say there was room for improvement. Decor was also basic - it did not have a 'wow' factor or give you a luxury feel, however it was perfectly fine, and met our needs for a short weekend. I have stayed in many apartments in Paris at this price point, and this one fell short comparatively. I also felt slightly jipped, as I paid a deposit to book at a set price, and when it came time to charge my card, there was an issue. Within 24 hrs I changed the credit card so it could charge the remaining fee, but the booking was cancelled. I was then forced to rebook at a much higher rate. I wrote to the hosts when it happened and got no replies until a few days later when it was too late. That part was disappointing, as it was close to our travel date and had no choice but to rebook at the higher price.

La facilité d’accès, le quartier calme et sécurisant, la propreté, les équipements, la literie très confortable (comme dans un hôtel).

…rien.

Fantastic location. Clear instructions from hosts. Comfortable, clean and modern.

Nothing
