Apartment Saint Germain des Près by Studio prestige

Location was amazing! Easy access to public transit and plenty of store options and things to do within easy walking distance. We had 2 adults and 5 kids and the apartment accommodated us comfortably.

We only had 2 issues, one was getting into the apartment but was our own fault and the second was the door had to be locked and unlocked solely with a key and we weren't comfortable not having the key in the lock in case of emergency, but it was stated not to leave the key in so our option was to not lock the apartment which did result in a man walking into our apartment at 2am. Luckily he quickly realized he was in the wrong apartment and no harm was done, but it made us uneasy whether it was locked or not since we worried about finding the key in time if there was an emergency, especially a fire since there is only one way in/out and no windows in the whole apartment.

Great location to explore Paris.

There are no windows which you can open. One of the bedrooms has stairs down to a work out zone which has no heating. This room was considerably cold and has a transparent roof with no blind similar to the one in the living room area. The remote for the TV had no batteries and very limited number of dinner plates. Instructions to access the property were very clear however the second door really does need a big push to open which my elderly parents couldn’t manage.

We loved the location in the Rive Gauche right near a metro. But we weren't aware thar the apartment was contained inside a building and was consequently fairly dark.. However the furnishings were comfortable if not particularly luxurious. What was very disappointing was the complete lack of kitchen cleaning equipment..no teatowels ,detergent, dishcloths and only one dishwasher tablet. I also hoped for cooking basics like a little salt and pepper some olive oil, perhaps some sugar which are very helpful for short stays.
