B&B Monte di Portofino

Great location with parking right in front of B&B door (for 3 cars), in a nice and quiet area. Walking distance from Portofino (an hour) and other nice places on the coast nearby. Alessandro, the owner is super nice and helpful. And the breakfast is delicious (croissants, focaccia from a bakery etc.).

We had a shower with no shower head holder, so had to hold it by hand to shower. Our private bathroom area was not in our room but in a room via the small common area hall.

Where to star! The host, the house, the location … everything was absolutely amazing! This is a family business, and you can definitely see how Alessandro (the host) put a lot of care, time and effort into making you feel at home. The house is stunning with the most beautiful views of the city. And the breakfast delicious and fresh. If you are looking for quality, this is definitely the place to go! If I come back to the city, I’ll stay again in this place

We were completely shocked by how amazing our stay was - it exceeded our expectations. The owner was very kind, offered us some homemade limoncello at check in, made from lemons out of his garden. The house had an amazing garden and view on the whole city. It was a very quiet neighbourhood. Everything was very clean. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

The hospitality of the staff was exceptional along with the incredible and fresh breakfast served every morning. The view from our balcony in our room was breathtaking. The cleanliness was great and the nature sounds you wake up to make the experience even more enjoyable (lots of birds chirping)

Although the bedroom was a bit tight, the bed was very comfortable. Another thing that took a while to adjust to, is having the bathroom outside of the room (separate room but private). The bathroom we had, had a bath and not shower available which was but a minor inconvenience.

We had brilliant view from our balcony. We had excellent breakfast under olive tree. Alessandro was perfect owner. We are gratefull for everything.

The host Alessandro was amazing, really helped us with his advice. The town itself is beautiful, has several beaches, many restaurants, caffes, supermarket... Would definitely recommend!

The house has no airconditioning and since you have to sleep with windows open, you hear noise from the neighbors.

This is a unique family home in a beautiful setting just off the main centre. Alessandro is a very welcoming & attentive host with great local knowledge. Amazing views from our bedroom balcony & breakfast on the veranda was a real treat.

No AC in the room when/if weather is hot. Doors are very noisy but not many rooms so not a big deal.

The property has such a stunning view and is still an easy walk down into town. It is so gorgeous and has a home from home feel. Alessandro is such a great host and made us feel so welcome.

The host Alessandro is an amazing guy. so helpfull. in the morning he made a so cute breakfast table at the garden under the olive trees. thank you Alessandro.

We loved staying in B&B Monte di Portofino. The house is traditional, spacious and clean, views are fantastic and the garden is beautiful. We wish we had some more time to spend there, as it is just lovely. Alessandro is a great host, he made us feel very comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the whole atmosphere was really welcoming. I would recommend to everyone interested in visiting Portofino and the other lovely towns around. Santa Margherita Ligure is a wonderful choice for stay, as Portofino can be even reached by walk (1h very scenic route), has plenty of restaurants, wonderful sea promenade and beautiful streets in the old town.

Sehr, sehr nette Gastgeber. Sehr hilfsbereit und kompetent. Viele gute Tips für Ausflüge und Freizeit. Tolles Frühstück. Schönes bequemes Zimmer. Großes Bett. Separates sehr schönes Bad. Großer Balkon. Sehr ruhig, oberhalb der Stadt. Schöne Aussicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Prachtig uitzicht, niet ver lopen van het centrum. Je krijgt alle info die je nodig hebt of wenst. Kamer was prachtig, goede bedden.

Notre séjour chez Elena et Alessandro a été absolument parfait ! - Parking : nous avons pu garer notre voiture juste devant la maison pendant toute la durée de notre séjour et gratuitement - Localisation : le centre-ville de Santa-Margherita est très facilement accessible en une petite dizaine de minutes par un petit escalier situé à proximité de la maison. - Chambre : la taille de la chambre est idéale et le petit balcon attenant est un grand plus, d’autant que la vue est magnifique. - Salle de bain : la salle de bain est très propre et assure toute l’intimité désirée. - Petit déjeuner : nous n’aurions pas pu rêver mieux que ce petit déjeuner avec des fruits frais, du miel récolté par Alessandro et du jus d’orange pressé. Tout cela dans le jardin de la maison avec une vue sur les hauteurs de Santa Margherita. A cela j’ajouterai un très merci très spécial à Elena et Alessandro, qui en plus de leur merveilleux accueil, ont aussi été d’une aide précieuse et très bienveillante dans l’organisation d’un moment spécial pour nous. Ce séjour reste parmi les plus merveilleux que nous avons pu passer ensemble et je ne pourrais que le recommander chaudement !

Super gastheer en gastvrouw, prachtige locatie bovenop de berg en heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt.

Paret som driver det var superhyggelige og behjelpelige. Vi syns stedet var vakkert, utsikten var fantastisk og det var som å komme inn i et italiensk filmsett. Alt lå også veldig nærme og i gå-avstand

J'ai passé 5 jours au B&B d'Alessandro et Elena, un endroit auquel je me suis rapidement attachée. Je vais essayer de limiter ma subjectivité pour donner des informations utiles au potentiel prochain voyageur : -La maison est idéalement située pour profiter des merveilles alentours de la Ligurie. 5min à pied du centre/de la plage, 20min de la gare. Place de parking possible. Parfait👌. -La maison, le jardin et la vue sur les hauteurs sont superbes. C'est un endroit avec une âme, charmant et dont les propriétaires prennent soin avec amour. La chambre est vraiment confortable, la salle d'eau stylée, le balcon est un énorme point fort. Comme à la maison, mais en mieux, parfait👌. -Le petit-déjeuner : FORMIDABLE. Délicieux et opulent. Chaque jour commence si bien, avec l'attention portée à ce moment privilégié. Merci encore🙏. -L'accueil : je suis profondément reconnaissante à Alessandro et Elena pour l'accueil qu'ils m'ont fait. Que dire ? Le partage de leur quotidien, les recommandations (n'hésitez surtout pas, ils connaissent leur région et les plus belles expériences/adresses par cœur), leur profonde gentillesse, leur attentions constantes à mon égard pour faire de ce voyage un moment exceptionnel et l'affection qu'ils ont pour le territoire dans lequel ils ont choisi de vivre, sont si précieux.
