Nice break away with a house and facilities.. will use the house again

It was only 15 mins walk to the town centre 20 mins to beach. It was nice to have a house as a family of 4 either tho our son couldn’t make it sure to work. The washing machine came in handy with daughter spilling juice down a white jumper. Parking wasn’t an issue we got packed outside the house straight. Lovely and quiet house.

The curtains were a little thin in back bedroom (blue room) let the sun rise in early. Teens are not early rises. sofa little uncomfortable and small. Conservatory smelt of smoke. I have spoke about this it hasn’t put us off using the house again.

A wonderful property equipped for a family break

The house was exceptionally clean and well provided in terms of all the facilities we needed for a short stay. The area was very quiet and slightly away from the hustle and bustle but easily accessible to all the attractions with a car. It might be a bit of a walk for those on foot. We were able to park on Hampton road without much difficulty for free during our stay. We all had a lovely sleep in comfortable beds and the kitchen was well equipped to both prepare a meal but also had access to a wide range of takeaway menus. We had the best Indian we have ever eaten from victoria golden tandoori so highly recommend! We brought our little pug with us on this trip and she enjoyed pottering round the little garden area. The house also gave plenty of space to 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The decor of the property was of high standard and the provision of welcome pack of supplies included tea, coffee and milk was a nice touch. Our hosts were very communicative and responsive to messages and happy to help with any questions. We would definitely return for a family break and book again. Thank you amber and Alex

Family weeeknd

Quiet residential area convenient for everything - no issues parking. V clean and spacious house, fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine with sunny conservatory and patio area where we had lazy breakfasts. Cosy lounge and v efficient heating. Hosts v good comms and helped with an issue speedily.

Be good to have bins in bedrooms.

Suited our needs for short stay

The house was roomy and fitted our needs.

The area wasn't great and the suite in the lounge was really uncomfortable as the springs appeared to have gone. Also wallpaper was torn in various places and the light shades and wardrobe tops were very dusty

A home from home. Loved it.

Perfect size and layout, comfortable and located in a quiet neighbourhood. Hosts were courteous, there was sufficient parking outside at most times and the back garden was delightful in the Yorkshire sun.

Lovely overnight stay

The house was ideal for us as a family of 5 adults attending a concert in the town for 1 night. The accommodation was comfortable and clean with all the amenities that you could need. There is coffee, tea, sugar and milk sachets provided along with washing up liquid, tea towel and sponge. Communication from the hosts was exceptional and gave us all the information we needed before arriving, ensuring us that we could contact them at anytime during our stay. The house is on a quiet road of terraced houses with parking on both sides of the street. We were able to park 2 cars along the street easily. It's about a 15 mins easy walk into town. I noticed a high chair was provided and there were lots of board games in the cupboards. There's a conservatory leading off the kitchen which gives extra space. This leads to a small pebble garden where there is a table and chairs. The garden would look more appealing if the area was rid of the weeds growing through the gravel. Overall the property is an ideal place for a family who needed the extra space and comfort

Comfortable clean home close to beach

Lovely clean and comfortable home; short drive to both beaches; walking distance to local shops, restaurants and take-aways. Quiet area and super comfortable beds.

Kettle needs descaling (I’m a hot drinks gal) and I would recommend maybe putting in some shower gel/shampoo and maybe some board games of some sort for families staying. But other than that, the house was perfect.

A wonderful weekend

The house was larger than we expected and very clean. There was all the cutlery and plates and things to cook with. We spent most if our time in the conservatory which was large enough for all 5 of us. Would recomend to famliy and friends.

The property was much larger than I expected. It was so lovely we had everything that we needed. Neighbourhood is quiet even on a Friday and Saturday night. Was wonderful to sit out in the garden in the morning in the sun. Hosts were really great.

Beautifully appointed house, really lovely ‘little touches’, very responsive hosts.

We did have a little ‘heating issue’ - the response was immediate and incredible. It continued but the team went massively out of their way to help us. We will be back. A big big thank you to all involved..

Comfortable and great location

The photos don't really do the house justice, it was so much larger than we were expecting. Perfect location from the main beach too , a short 10/15 minute walk!

I think the guests before us may have brought a dog so there was a slight smell when we arrived but nothing an opening of some windows couldn't fix!

We enjoyed our stay visiting the sights of Scarborough and Robins Hood Bay and found the house very cozy and welcoming. The beds were comfy too.

Parking outside the property was a bit of a problem as we had difficulty finding parking on Hampton Road when we first arrived but it was a Bank Holiday!

Exceptional

A beautiful house that was fully equipped for our family trip. Exceptionally clean and luxuriously decorated. We had a minor plumbing issue but a plumber arrived to fix the problem within 10 minutes, couldn't ask better than that !! The location is great, a simple walk into Scarborough but parking was never a problem if you prefer to drive. 5 minutes drive from a large Sainsbury's too which is handy. We will definitely be booking again for next year.

A black out blind in the back bedroom would have been handy to stop little humans waking up at dawn 😊 Apart from that there's nothing I would suggest changing about the house. Perfect !

The property was spacious and had some lovely little touches such as a stick of tea bags/coffee etc.

There is free parking but it was very limited. We did manage to get a space but if you are arriving after 5pm you may struggle.

Very good

Lovely house, great location for either North or south beach and access to town. We used it as a base for a music concert in peasholm Park. Simple 20 min walk rather than long queue in carparks.
