Frustrating

Decent size , comfy beds.

Strong unpleasant smell throughout apartment. No response when trying to contact owners or booking.com. Area not great, confirmed by taxi driver. My wife and daughter felt unsafe walking through nearby streets.

Enjoyable stay, worth what we paid. Thank you

Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Little touches such as the tea tray (which was full of everything we needed) and milk in the fridge made us feel welcome. We got what we paid for and came away satisfied that we had a lovely time. I felt nothing would be a problem if anything should occur as owners were very friendly and attentive.

We didn’t really come across anything worth mentioning.

The location was close to all amenities such as beach, peasholm park, corner shop and restaurant.

Upstairs bathroom smells very damp, so all family had to share bathroom on lower level. Noise from seagulls were constant , but couldn’t be helped by the host.

A great place to stay, ideally located for all Scarborough’s delights.

The location is terrific for access to either bay and also exceptional for the cricket. The decor was very nice and the kitchen well stocked. There were four adults and a child in our party and there was plenty of space in general.

The guttering outside the double bedroom is either blocked or broken. This caused an incessant drip, drip, drip, drip down on to the rooftop inches outside the window for hours on two of the nights we were there. The first night I had to go and sleep elsewhere. The second I resorted to putting a towel under the drip to dampen the sound. No pun intended. The cooker hood also didn’t work. Maybe a dodgy connection as the light flickered on but immediately went off.

perfect family holiday

Booked our last-minute stay in here. The host prepared everything for our late arrival. These hosts got you covered 100%. Easy communication with them. The place was clean and tidy, and no loud neighbours etc, exactly what we needed and wanted because of the kids. The kids absolutely loved the place. Even after a long day outside, the Hosts thought about the kids who stay there, as there is family games that were left in the apartment. Definitely will return here.

Great stay in Scarborough for us first timers!

Walking distance of the North Bay beach and Peasholm Park, fab fish and chips place and Bella Rose cafe. Great facilities in the property, lovely decor. Very thoughtful hosts leaving a welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk/biscuits etc - great when you’ve just arrived! Great recommendations of restaurants and attractions - exactly what you need as first time visitors to Scarborough.

Key lock was a bit fiddly to undo.

The decoration of the apartment is beautiful. Very spacious and great communication from the hosts regarding checking in and out. They also messaged to check we had settled in ok etc. Plenty of towels provided and lots of little touches like body wash, washing up liquid, washing machine/dishwasher tablets provided!

The location was perfect a short 15 minute walk to either North or South Beach. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and welcoming.

Well located to the North Bay and the castle, a pleasant walk.

The property was well located within walking distance to the North bay, overlooking the sea and also to St Mary's church via the castle.The area was also very quiet except for the squawking seagulls which could not be helped.I would recommend the property for any family planning to stay at Scarborough.Nice to breath in the sea air in the evening.

The struggle to carry heavy cases up the stairs but again due to the nature of the property this could not be helped.

It had everything we needed, lovely comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, was central to where we wanted to go and was decorated beautifully.

There were lots of stairs, which weren’t a problem for our party, but I think people should know before booking.

Wonderful birthday weekend.

The location was brilliant, everything we wanted was in walking distance. We didn’t move the car for the four night’s we stay.

The bath room was outstanding, beware the shower room if your 6ft 4, it was ok for the short old ladies 😂
