Family weekend

Great refurb of what must have been a challenging project with the age of the building. Well thought out, everything provided for a comfy stay. Lots of parking.

The shower needs sorting, think you’ve got the right temperature but then it goes boiling hot to freezing cold continuously. One loo roll for 3 of us for the weekend! Didn’t matter we bought some but an extra one would have been perfect.

Great weekend

Clean and comfortable accommodation. All facilities were in working order. Tea coffee and sugar provided and cleaning materials. Great location only 10 min walk to Peasholm park and 5 mins to the beach. Communication from the host was exceptional.

Only one complaint there wasn't a waste bin in the bathroom which was inconvenient but only a minor fault that can be easily rectified.

Spacious apartment, good location

We stayed in the ground floor apartment which had use of the back garden which was perfect for our dog. The apartment was spacious, clean and had extras like tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid etc. Location was quiet, approx 10-15mins walk to the shops and beachfront. Nearby there was a One Stop shop, a pub and takeaways which was handy. We also had a parking permit which was helpful. Communication with the owner was excellent too. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

A nice place to stay

the location is very good, very near North Bay. Friendly people in Trafalgar Square. Flat feels spacious with the big windows.

Advertized as all on one floor, I had to manage 15 stairs to actually access the flat. Fortunately Although I am disabled through breaking my hip I can do stairs, others might have a problem Needs more kitchen equipment if you wanted to cook.

Very clean with everything in the apartment needed for our stay , warm with blackout blinds for lazy days , parking permits too , so you can park outside on the road , not major road either, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Small gripe but not major couldn’t find the remote for tv in the bedroom, but like I said no real issue.

Great location, ideal for a short stay.

Location was great. The flat was suitable for our short stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. Kirsty was very friendly and helpful. Great view from the kitchen over the cricket grounds.

The bedrooms had velux ceiling windows so no outlook. The kitchen table was broken on arrival with the back flap missing, the leg for the front flap is in need of repair and a heavy person would be very loath to sit on the wooden chairs. The apartment was on the top floor up 4 flights of stairs, maybe this should be mentioned in the advertisement (or we should have asked)

Location good. Beds comfy

Couldn’t have a shower. Either cold or extremely hot and kept stopping and starting. Basin in bedrooms and not in toilet area. At times couldn’t get any cold water in basins.

Great flat, perfect base for our visit to Scarborough for a concert at the open air theatre.

Enjoyed the weekend but would stay in a hotel next time for similar cost.

Location was close to areas we wanted to visit and walking distance to bus routes for further destinations.

We had to re-wash the pots and pans as they were not clean before use, used razor blades left in the shower, one mattress was very soft and one was nice and hard which we like.

Great apartment in excellent location

Really good location for the North Bay and town centre. Plentiful parking and a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was spotless with a great view of the cricket ground. A number of convenience shops are within walking distance and fast food takeaways. Stunning local public parks are within an easy walk away. We love Scarborough and would look to stay at this property again.

A bit overpriced but okay overall

Good communication from the host.

For the price a few little bits would be nice - mini toiletries, some complimentary coffee sachets or biscuits. The only coffee there was clearly old and had crystallised. Shower is incredibly hot, bath plug didn't fit. Furniture in living area felt worn out. Overall overpriced for what it was.

Convenient for a short stay in Scarborough.

Location was excellent. Parking was easy - and I had been a bit worried about it. Plenty of parking near the apartment and sorted by the host with voucher parking. Apartment was clean and had a lovely view of the cricket pitch. Had all we needed.

Shower was stiff and stuck on hot or very hot but my husband sorted it and it was fine!

More of a hotel than an apartment

Good location in the middle of both beaches. If you're looking for something less claustrophobic than a hotel this is a good option. Amazing beautiful view of the cricket ground.

Dirty mugs/crockery in the cupboards was a shame. A member of staff bumped into me on the second night but rather than introduce herself she ignored me and I got a text at 9pm asking if I had pets with me so she had gossiped to the owner/management. I travel three times a month sometimes more; I'm very accustomed to a pet fee, providing it's in the advert which it wasn't/isn't. I understand the booking platform isn't great, but the pet fee needs to be in the advert rather than charging people after they've arrived/booked/paid Nice enough apartment but although it had a kitchen it felt more like a room in a guest house.

Perfect location

Perfect location. X 3 of us were coming from different location, they were very helpful and supplied an extra two parking permits at a very reasonable price.

We arrived and no towels. Thankfully one of us had not left yet, they had to bring x 3 towels. It would be better if supplied.

Good location to visit both south and north bay attractions. Ample parking and was free with the host purchasing parking permits. Very clean and comfortable apartment.

Close to the beach, spacious lounge, adequate facilities.

It was very clean and tidy. Also there was a microwave, oven, kettle, bowls and glasses. There were windows to open and it was close to the beach and main attractions. Very spacious lounge with a tv. Overall very much worth the money.

There wasn’t any hand soap and insufficient toilet roll. Also the boys said their beds weren’t very comfortable.
