An Actual Home stay away from Home

The propeety is great by all means. Situated in a quiet street, with roadside parking. The home is near to all main attractions especially North Bay beach and Peashome Park whixh are stone throw away distance. The property was clean throughout, very well decorated and laid out. The hosts have been considerate that inspite of the many plug points in each room, they placed a couple of extension leads as well - well thought especially in times of many electronic gadgets one possesses. Going a step ahead, the hosts even provide parking permits for local parking anywhere in Scarborough - again very well thought. Can't praise enough. Shall keep on coming back and shall recommend to all family and friends...STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Great house/location!

The house was lovely and just like the photos. The beds were comfortable and we had a great few days getting out and about. Great location! The FREE parking disc was great! We used that each day. We had a lovely few days and would definitely go back.

Just a couple of niggles.......We didn't like the fact that we were told that a dog would be charged for AFTER booking. What exactly does the £25 cover? Our dog stayed in her own bed, and she didn't get up on any furniture, and no mess at all. Also, there was a charge of £50 for cleaning included in the price, however a couple of plates had not been washed properly before our arrival. Plus, we had to wash and dry the towels before we left. As this was a holiday, we didn't feel it fair that we had to wash them when the cost of cleaning was included in the price. Therefore we took our own towels and never used any in the house. We also left the house as it was found. We just feel that all extra costs should be explained before booking. Overall, we had a great experience, but just wanted to let you know our opinions on the above.

Exceptional

Perfectly located to explore Scarborough, and felt safe enough walking out with my little boy on an evening to get our bearings. We walked through Peasholm Park to the miniature railway to get to Sea Life, all of which I'd wholeheartedly recommend.

excellent location. we were able to walk to all the main attractions. very clean and spacious. everything you could need was provided.

the entrance steps were very steep and slippery. a hand rail may be a good idea.

House was very clean and and the house is very modern, I always like a decent shower and that was a good shower, decent location close to centre with bars and restaurants.
