Would definitely stay here again

We had a fantastic stay, house was very spacious, clean and had everything you need. Great location, everything within a couple of minutes walk. Parking wasn’t an issue for us. Managed to park our Citroen c4 on the drive. Would definitely stay here again if we come to Scarborough. Only thing I would say is could do with some blinds in the kitchen but that’s just personal preference.

Needs Upgrading.

The location is great.

The boiler was not working so there was no heating and no hot water meaning only 1 shower was functioning and the bath could not be used. The shower [electric] that did work leaked through the kitchen ceiling when used. To wash crockery we had to boil kettles.

A grim experience.

It was very handy for getting to the seafront and into town.

Looked very rundown on approach& was extremely “ tired” inside & desperately in need of updating& a very deep clean. There were a lot of bluebottle flies especially in the area between the back door and the garage which was alarming but there was a couple of cans of fly spray to hand but they just kept appearing which was grim to say the least. The garage doorway wasn’t wide enough to accommodate my daughters VW Golf and she resorted to parking literally on the pavement outside the garage which wasn’t ideal. There was an alternative area up the side of the property but again not wide enough.

Worse place I've stayed in

Hot shower

Place needs a deep clean, skirting boards very dusty, cobwebs in every room. No attention to detail when it comes to the property, all windows dirty. Massive hole in the ceiling in the roof of the garage along with a bath in there. Leaking pipes outside, splashing over the decking. Stains on carpets, mould in shower list goes on. Photos will be uploaded

Lovely cleanl home, great location.

The location is amazing right near everything. The house is clean and tidy and comfortable. Could do with small bits of tlc in some areas of the house but didn't spoil our stay. Had everything we needed in the house e.g towels, hairdryer etc.

It does say parking however this was a bit disappointing because it's difficult to park in the area available in a family sized car, only possible for smaller cars. Would be good if they could get a permanent for people to park while you stay there as parking is local but obviously costs over few days adds up.

Nice house in near seafront location

Good location near beach. Clean. Good size bedrooms. Good facilities in kitchen. Garage is great if you’re biking and have bikes to store. Great pub (Leeds arms) 30 yards away

Parking is an issue if more than one car. Shower leaked into kitchen but owner was aware. Seagulls are an absolute pest, you totally expect seagulls on coastal town but the local council have allowed them to partly ruin the town literally with cr@p. Not the properties fault but would go back to Scarborough because of it

Fantastic location.

Excellent location - beach/seafront and shops all within a 5 minute walk!. Parking was relatively easy. All contact with the host was great.

Rooms very light so I slept badly. If I could change just one thing, I'd add a blackout lining to curtains to help.

Really good location

The location was perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the waterfront and attractions close by. The landlord responded to issues promptly. The house was very big with plenty of space for the whole family.

On arrival it had the smell of dogs particularly the sofa and it activated allergies.we did contact the landlord who informed us the carpets had recently been steam cleaned. The was a leak in the kitchen ceiling when the shower was on. The landlord came to investigate and told use not to use the shower in the ensuite for 24 hours and only use the shower in the main bathroom. However the leak continued when using shower in main bathroom. The toilet in the main bathroom made a continous loud cistern noice after flushing. We got a call on the way there telling us we could not use the bath as it had just been fitted and the seal had not been done. This was not ideal because we had 2 small grandchildren who needed the bath. The landlord agreed to fit the seal but we could not use the bath until the following evening. There was a huge whole in the roof of the garage under the bathroom. It looked like something out of the tv show stranger things. The freezer was over frozen and wouldn't shut properly. We had to hack at the ice in order to open the draws to store food and close it. Parking was also a nightmare. Once parked if you went out anywhere in the car you could not get a space on return.

Enjoyable and comfortable

We really liked the location as it was very close to all amenities and close to south beach.

The only thing I would say let’s down the property is the parking as it is a disk zone and although there is a garage and a parking space they are only really useful if you have a small vehicle. We travelled in a large ppl carrier and although we did manage to park it in the drive way it was very tight and had to get in and out through the back of the vehicle a you could not open the doors.

Would book again

Location was excellent, we used the house as a base for ride outs around Yorkshire. The garage was a bonus as we managed to fit in 5 motorbikes without any security issues. Ideal for our stay.

Had a good break house was very clean

Location not brilliant some very unsavoury characters wondering around , an argument broke out snd the police had st attend .

Just the area , snd the parking wasn’t good my friend got a £35 fine as she parked outside the garage

great central location, walking distance to all of the major attractions, lovely property had all facilities/ space needed for 8 of us.

great location nice house

The property is in a great location just set back from the front promenade. property was clean and beds we’re comfortable. had to call owner for assistance re parking and he was very helpful. Neighbours even assisted us with parking as we had a large vehicle to squeeze in a tight spot. overall a great stay ☺️ will definitely stay again

just one negative with toilet as it has a problem with the flush and cystern was noisy through the night - but probably easily rectified.

Location

The location it's perfect and close to pretty much everything you need. The house however is definitely in need of some attention, a leak from the roof had see areas of the house look unloved however I believe this was due to be decorated after our stay. The mattress on the beds were hard and had no give whatsoever in them, a deep clean would benefit the whole place top to bottom. Little things like mold around the shower trim and windows could all do with being looked at. I has a lot of what you need however nothing to drain veg/rice with, small frying pans can't be used they are in poor condition. The kitchen table chairs have loose legs and I would suggest a table cloth for the top!. In summary it could be a wonderful place if the investment was put in to the place.

Excellent location. Super clean property. This was our 3rd stay and we'd definitely reccomend it. Comfortable beds, plenty of space.

The bath does need sealing around the taps, as water drips down the kitchen wall. Unfortunately the price of the property has gone up for next year and its no longer within our budget, which is a real shame.

Family holiday getaway

Plenty of space for everyone and easy access to the seafront. Liked having 2 bathrooms. Carpets must have been recently cleaned (still slightly damp) and rest of the property very clean.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. We received parking vouchers but finding a space near the property was very tricky. The property does have a very slim door garage but not suitable for our car.

The bedrooms really need much darker curtains / blackout blinds as the rooms were brilliant sunshine from 5am. More could be made of the decking area.
