Very bad sleeping conditions 30y.o.matress&bed. Spoilt holiday

I didn't like underdog accommodation, the smell of museum carpets. I didn't like single glazed windows- cold. The attitude of hosts was denying me comfort and rest. Aerial of old TV was broken, shower output was out of order, hosts lied about the bed and mattress- I demanded refund for lost holiday, the accommodation is not fit for purpose, in 2025 old spring mattress dating 30.y back is abuse of my contract. Neit6me nory partner slept well nor rested there. The cooker was unsay repaired. Both hosts lied to us about poor 2 star flat, describing it 3 stars and "new bed" verbally. Heating was refused in bad manners. WiFi didn't work. 19 steps to first floor. Hosts has bad attitude dealing with very sick holiday seeker- precious time lost and money scammed in amounts £640 for a week, scandal!!!. Quiet lounge- denied, luggage room does not exist. Verbally abused few times when discussed refund and unacceptable poor standards. In the end we were treated in racist manners. The worst time ever- trap. This is value for money- booking.com didn't answer nor resolved it's failing booking. I believe it's company fault as well. Do not recommend at all.

Ideal for our needs for the couple of days we visited. Value for money.

The flat fitted our needs perfectly, in particular the location couldn't be bettered. Anyone who knows Scarborough knows that the Valley is close to sea, shops and pretty much everything else. Just a tip for visitors, make your way up Royal Avenue opposite, cross the main road , and go to St Martins church for a quiche!

If I had to quibble, the tap in the sink wobbled, but that didn't really detract from anything...

Excellent apartment and great location

It was very clean, everything that was needed was available, cooker, fridge and enough space, felt more like home than something we had booked for a few day, perfect place for a couple day break, sea front only a couple minutes down the road aswsll, would definitely be returning to this place again

Only downside I have from here was the noise from outside on the evening and night due to the old windows but was able to cope with it fine

10/10 stay, loved every minute.

Room was perfect, had a lovely stay with a great view. Location was perfect, much closer to the front than we expected. Staff were so welcoming and helped us.

Only thing was no hair dryer in the room so make sure you pack one. Can’t fault it otherwise!

iM SURE THIS WS A ONE OFF, BUT WE HAD TO WAIT 30 MINUTES BEFORE WE COULD GET IN AND SUBSEQUENTLY MISSED SOME OF OUR GIG.

Lovely holiday flat

The flat was lovely, plenty of space for 3 of us. Walking distance to the beach and the nearest shop is only 5 minutes away. Good facilities in the flat and very friendly and helpful owners.

Spot on clean, although an apartment tea,coffee, milk, washing up liquid and tea towel were provided along with bathroom toiletries. Good size sitting room and good size equipped bedroom. Shower really good size quadrant cubicle complete with wash basin and toilet.

The fact that when we texted the owner regarding the WiFi we didn't receive any response and discovered how to access it by chance. Had to pay a small fee for scratchcard parking because the car park was very small. Expected that it would be free since we couldn't get in the car park.

Very clean and well equipped with all you need for self catering including toaster and microwave. Cellar bar open and serve food. Able to park in car park and plenty of on road parking available. Easy walk to town centre and Olivers Mount.
