5 star...2nd visit and we will be back!

This is our second stay at The Boat House but this time we went for the top floor apartment. Amazing apartment, the views of the sea and castle are just the best. So relaxing. Perfect location but not right in the town centre so it's lovely and quiet...waking up to have a morning cuppa overlooking the bay is a real treat, doesn't matter what the weather. The apartment is so spacious and amazingly decorated. Our hosts are always on hand for queries etc. We brought our dog as he loves the beach and it's refreshing to find such a lovely self catering apt that accommodates dogs. The apts are sound proof so we heard not a peep out of anyone, even in the stairwells. Wish we could have stayed longer. Please read the Welcome guide especially the story about the owners and their journey. We have booked to return to their cottage on the North shore in two weeks time!

BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT - A MUST STAY!

Amazing stay at The Boat House - We stayed in The Navigator apartment. Really easy check in with keys in the safe and an allocated parking space on the drive to the apartments. Great communication from the owners who sent out all we needed to know and were very helpful and responsive during our stay. The apartment it's self (right from the main entrance) was absolutely stunning! Furnished to a high standard. Very clean & smelt gorgeous. The owners have really thought of EVERYTHING you would need in there. We brought our dog and there even a little jar of doggy treats waiting for her. The sea view from all the rooms was beautiful to wake up too! Location was perfect. Really quiet but a short walking to the main strip on the front and Peasholm Park. We really didn't want to leave and will definitely book again when we next go to Scarborough. Thank you Debbie & Andy :)

We had an amazing stay and the apartment is beautiful and clean. Debbie and Andy’s attention to detail is second to none. We have stayed in Scarborough many times but the Boathouse is by far the best in every way. A definite home away from home.

Location was very good , stunning views over the bay , accommodation was beautiful with everything you needed beautifully decorated and parking was brilliant on the property grounds .

There was a little bit noise late at night at the back of the property but other than that everything was perfect for us ..beautiful property lovely location stunning views.

Best in Scarborough ❤️

Loved the whole Helmsman apartment, it was warm and cosy and fully equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The best thing are the views ❤️

The car park is very very tight. But with respectful parking from other guests, time and patience then some careful manoeuvres, you can get out ok. It certainly wouldn't put us off returning, we were just grateful to have free, onsite parking 👍

the apartment is stunning, extremely spacious, and the host think about every little detail to make it home from home, ie, plenty of household essentials ,towels, drink making facilities, when i say we love it here its not an exaggeration, i want to live in this apartment i love it that much x

Perhaps one or two pictures in time to make it feel slightly less clinical. Can understand why it is simple - because of changeovers - but just a few more items might make the apartment feel more inviting.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. This was a perfect stay... from the initial great communication from the owners Debbie & Andy, to the clear directions to the apartment itself all was clear and hassle free. Once there we were both amazed at how incredible the apartment was for the money paid (we stayed in the Gunner apartment). Beautifully decorated, incredibly well equipped and ideally located (the most stunning sea views)... this made for for the perfect stay. We cannot recommend the Boat House highly enough.

Two bedroom apartment with view of sea

The lounge was large and had a lovely view of the sea. The kitchen facilities were modern and well presented. The bathroom was modern and the shower good.

The bedrooms were cold, dark and damp. The carpet felt damp and our clothes were cold. My husband suffers from bronchitis if in a damp environment and had to sleep on the couch upstairs. There was a leak in the apartment next door and on our last morning the bedroom carpet was wet through. It felt like you were entering a cave and we didn't want to be in the bedrooms. The beds were small and too soft.

Loved the location, it's proximity to the seafront, castle & town. It is clear that much thought has gone into the refurb!

All very minor.... The style of shower tends to lead to alot of water on the floor. Great views from the kitchen but very exposed, maybe blinds for privacy...? Parking could be "tight" if all spaces in use.

Lovely property, great location and really comfy beds

Beautifully renovated can see a lot of hard work went in to this property, beds were really comfortable

Unfortunately there had been a leak which we had been informed of before we stayed but this caused a really damp smell in the main bedroom. We mentioned this to the hosts on the first day of our stay and they did come and clean the carpet and made every effort to remove the odour which was very much appreciated

A perfect getaway!

We stayed at Boat House Luxury apartments as we were there for a concert at Scarborough’s open air theatre. Which was only a 10 minute walk away. We drove here and there was space for one car which was free. Communication from the host was thorough. The accommodation was perfect in every possible way! Beautiful sea views (I watched the sun rise on the first morning), stunning and modern furniture, lighting and decor. So much attention to detail. Lots of essentials were provided for our stay, ie tea/coffee, cleaning products, extra toilet roll.etc Thank you for a great stay, we hope to come back soon and already been recommending it to others
