We visited as a large family for a 60th birthday. Having 4 large bedrooms, the house was perfect to accommodate us all. Large fridge/freezer in garage was handy.

extremely ample provision of facilities, loved every detail and thought put into decorating each room to ensure that the stay was comfortable. From the little lights in the garden, to all the kitchen equipment, and games for indoors, it was all fantastic!
I was worried from previous reviews regarding the dog smell on furniture but this has not been an issue.
parking is not an issue which is excellent in Scarborough as everywhere is permit only or limited in hours. It's extremely close by to North Bay beach on foot, and to Peasholm Park (which we didn't manage to visit due to the weather :(
10/10 would come back again for a longer stay!
there was a bit of laundry/dirty linen left in one of the rooms. this was quickly resolved as I was contacted quickly and someone came to pick it up ASAP. Generally have no issues with the property at all. We were a group of youths having an Easter retreat with our pastor, so if you're looking for more bathrooms this could be an issue but we just about managed the 2 bathrooms between 3 boys and 4 girls!
The key thing I didn't like was the booking & messaging system by Skyes Cottage, nothing to do with the property at all. When I did need to contact the owner regarding the linen, and once we were able to be in contact directly, there was no issues!
