Das Personal (Marta) war aussergewöhnlich nett und zuvorkommend. Der Ausblick war traumhaft schön.

The b&b is located a bit out of town (which is a good thing; less tourists and an amazing view on the lago) on a hill. The rooms are all you need but not very big. The breakfast is really excellent with everything you possibly want. During your stay you can get free coffee and water and a bottle of wine cost you 7 euro! Furthermore the host is so super friendly and always smiling and laughing. Lower than a 10 would be unjustified.

The view of Lake Maggiore is as good as the photos show it to be. The owners are wonderfully welcoming, and the breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and fresh fruit. Cannobio is a lovely place to stay on the Lake.
We booked a double bed but what we actually had was two average quality single mattresses ( see photo) covered with a very thin cover on a noisy metal base. The blankets were thin synthetic covers, clean but well used. Similarly the furniture and decor was quite dated and the room layout meant it was difficult to have luggage for two people. The bathroom had no external window, the fan connected to the bathroom light was extremely noisy and the soap container in the shower was rusted. The property has a truly wonderful view of the Lake. But given the layout of the building there is no privacy if you have the curtains open to enjoy the view as other guests had to walk immediately past the 'pink room to get to their room. Sadly for us B&B Lago Maggiore did not live up to the high scores it has received on Booking.com.
