I recommend it very much!!

I loved the location – it was absolutely beautiful. We had a balcony with a stunning view, and everything was just perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff were very friendly, even making fresh coffee for us. Our room was unique and beautifully designed, and it was cleaned multiple times a day – at least three – so it was always spotless. I’m not sure about other rooms, but ours didn’t have a TV. The hotel offers private parking for guests only, which costs €20 per night. It’s about a 5-minute drive and then a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Because the hotel is in a very central and busy area, there’s quite a lot of noise even with the windows closed. After 23:00 it gets much quieter, but until then there are street performers singing and shouting, so if you plan to sleep early it might be challenging. This next point might be specific to our room, but since the building is old, we had three large spiders during our stay. When I went to the reception, they immediately provided an anti-bug spray, which solved the problem quickly.

Best placed hotel in town, we had room on top floor with views to harbour and to direct lake that are fantastic. Staff great, breakfast very good.

beautiful old building in perfect location

the location was fantastic, right on the promenade but just at the end so not too noisy. breakfast an ok selection but not as good as other places we stayed and the staff all a little 'faulty towers', although the terrace out front for breakfast (or aperitivo was really great!). Room lovely and large but very hard pillows! Beautiful old building and history

We missed Fabio who was a great general factotum and new all guests by name and their history .

The breakfast table is always superb. Huge choice of fresh fruit, pastries , meats and cheeses. Also champagne, fresh fruit juice and a basket of vegetables to make healthy smoothy. An ample supply of hot drinks.

The room was smaller than we have been used to on earlier visits. Lack of hanging space.

Simply the best hotel in Cannobio. Period.

Everything, as usual. This is my favorite hotel in the world, and I have been staying in many hotels, all over the world. Especially the breakfast in the sunlit breakfast lounge is just a wonderful experience, a real treat that makes anyone feel like a king. even kings.

the signs to make everyone (including their many swiss customers) wear the mandatory virus mask in the breakfast room was apparently not clear enough for some ...

Der Ausblick aus dem Fenster auf den See war herrlich. Tolles Frühstück draußen in der Morgensonne. Wir haben uns wie Royals gefühlt. Kein Lärm von einer Strasse.
