Perfect in every way

Our stay at Rivalago was a delight. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left with a heavy heart. The hotel has been designed beautifully, a good size bedroom (6) with a wonderful view and a large and very functional bathroom. Matteo and his staff were all excellent and the location is ideal in Cannobio, at the quiet end of this charming town.

This was a memorable visit to Lago Maggiore and I would certainly stay at Rivalago again.

The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Can't think of a thing. Only wish it was warm enough to swim in the lake and take advantage of the lakeside lawn.

Gutes Frühstück, Bar und Restaurant während des Tages bis 20 Uhr geöffnet. Sehr gute Drinks und Snacks. Gesicherter Parkplatz ein paar Gehminuten entfernt, für uns kein Problem. Schöner Rasenstrand mit Einstieg über Leiter in den See direkt gegenüber dem B&B.

L'emplacement devant le lac est parfait pour se baigner est visiter cannobio. La restauration de cette bâtisse en hôtel est très bien réalisée avec goût et qualité. Le parking privatif malgré qu'il ne soit pas à côté de l'hôtel et très appréciable. La gentillesse du personnel.

Geweldige vakantie in dit mooie Italiaanse dorpje

Voortreffelijke b&b zeer smaakvol en modern ingericht. Super schoon. Heerlijk bed en lekker koele kamer voorzien van airco. Ligging direct aan het meer met ligweide. Heerlijk ontbijt op het terras. Aankleding van het ontbijtbuffet tot in de puntjes verzorgd, zeer mooie aankleding. Cannobio is een sfeervol plaatsje met voldoende eetgelegenheden, zeker als je even de binnenstraatjes naar boven loopt. Er is een privé parkeerplaats aanwezig ( afgesloten) looptijd ongeveer 12 minuten.

Prachtige B&B, veel zorg besteed aan het gebouw en inrichting, met behoud van authentieke details. Ieder detail klopte. Prachtige kamer, zeer goed ontbijt. De locatie aan het Lago Maggiore aan het eind van de boulevard was echt heel fijn. Net buiten de drukte, maar op 1 minuut lopen al op de boulevard. Strandje voor de deur.

Eigenlijk niets. Kleine tip: beschuit bij het ontbijt zou lekker geweest zijn.

Große Empfehlung! Wir hatten ein paar super schöne Tage im Rivalago. - Sehr freundliche Hotelmitarbeiter! - Zimmer sehr grosszügig und komfortabel. Stilvolle, neue Einrichtung. Wurde täglich blitzblank gereinigt. Herrlicher Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore. - Frühstücksbuffet war vielseitig und toll angerichtet. Die Bar und weitere kleine Snacks ebenfalls zu empfehlen - Das Hotel hat insgesamt nur 8 Zimmer. Somit nie überfüllt und sehr entspannte Atmosphäre vor Ort, vorallem morgens zum Frühstück. - Wiese und Seezugang direkt vor dem Hotel mit Möglichkeit, Strandliegen zu mieten Wir kommen sicher wieder! :-)

Traumhafter Aufenthalt – wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Unser Aufenthalt im Rivalago B&B war einfach perfekt! Das Zimmer im obersten Stock war großzügig, makellos sauber, frisch renoviert und bot einen atemberaubenden Blick über den Lago Maggiore. Besonders geschätzt haben wir das bequeme Bett – wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Das Frühstück war ein absoluter Genuss: hochwertige, frische Produkte, liebevoll serviert – und das direkt am Seeufer in traumhafter Kulisse. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Matteo, der mit seiner warmherzigen Art immer für uns da war und uns einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bereitet hat. Wir kommen zu 1000% wieder!

Empfehlenswertes kleines Hotel, neu renoviert.

Tolle Lage direkt am südlichen Ende der Seepromenade. Dadurch sehr ruhig. Privater, abschliessbarer, Parkplatz. Direkt vor dem Haus ein kleiner öffentlicher Badestrand. Personal extrem freundlich, tolles Frühstück, bei schönem Wetter draußen mit Seeblick.

Die Lage ist einmalig, alles ist gepflegt und wie neu. Ich habe selten ein so sauberes Hotel gesehen! Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist einmalig, die Auswahl vielfältig und alles sehr stylish angerichtet. Da steht überall viel Liebe, Leidenschaft und Herzblut dahinter. Wir kommen gerne wieder😃

Die perfekte Unterkunft am Lago Maggiore

Für uns war es die perfekte Lage in Cannobio. Direkt am See und doch ruhig. Alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist neu und geschmackvoll renoviert. Wenn wir mal wieder in diese Region reisen, dann sicher wieder in diese Unterkunft.

Da die Bar im Haus um 20Uhr schliesst (was sehr gut für die nächtliche Ruhe ist) bekommt man keine kalten Getränke mehr und ein Kühlschrank für die Selbstversorgung ist nicht vorhanden. Im Bad könnte es mehr Haken zum Trocknen von Kleidung und Handtüchern geben, aber das ist Meckern auf ganz hohem Niveau.
