A perfect, cozy B&B ideal for short trips in and around Dundalk

I'd booked this B&B as the location was ideal for me; was just down the road from my work's christmas function. Helena was extremely helpful and the perfect Hostess. The Bed was comfy, room was spotless and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast the following morning was excellent too.

The room was small with an outraged shower and fittings. Very overpriced for what's on offer. The price compared with that of a boutique or higher end accommodation but provides lower end of the market facilities.

An enjoyable and comfortable stay

The rooms were very clean, the bed was good quality. The decor was nice with plenty of interesting things on the walls, especially the dining area during breakfast.

I couldn't find much to fault, the sausages in the breakfast were a bit on the small side.

A lovely, friendly guest house in Dundalk

Helena was very welcoming and provided us with a great deal of information about things to do and see in Dundalk and wider Co Louth. She also provided excellent recommendations on places to eat and drink in Dundalk - with all her recommendations we'll have to come back for a week! The room was very comfortable, with lovely soft white linen and good tea making facilities. The shower had very good water pressure - a big bonus! Breakfast was fairly standard cooked breakfast fare, but filling.

The accommodation is in the process of being redecorated and given a general clean up which will be great. The outdoor areas would benefit from a general clean up also. power washing steps and yard would help a lot.

Downstairs ‘twin’ was a double and a camp-bed. Bad traffic noise and bathroom had a strong drain smell. Can’t comment on the other rooms but given the good rating I expect they are fine.
