Lovely host met me up and pointed out recommended pubs to visit too! Really lovely, feels like visiting someone's home (which I guess it is, haha). Had a lovely one night stay, would go again :)

Nothing! Some spiders visited in the evening but it wasn't a problem, that's just how it is, haha.

Marian the host was at the property to assist us with check in. We also informed her that we would be out with our friends and be back late in the night, she accommodated our request. She welcomed us with chilled bottle of water. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was also easy to locate and in close proximity to hop on the local bus into town.

This must have been an oversight on behalf of the cleaners but the container the shower gel, shampoo etc was stored in was filthy. I had to empty the container, washes it and returned the shampoo into it.

Friendly, helpful accommodating owners. Comfortable space.

The room was quite big (more long, I think it's 2 rooms made into one - with 3 single beds), cosy and nicely-decorated with an en-suite; check out is 11; tea/coffee-making facilities; heating. I arrived about 25 minutes before the official check-in time of 4pm and a friendly elderly man checked me in. He was very informative about the area and helpful.

I was very sad to see that the spoon on the tea tray was dirty - sticky with dried sugar and coffee on it - this does make you wonder about other things... Some channels on the TV kept going blank (black screen) when you changed channels, meaning you kept having to turn the TV on and off to get the picture - very weird and frustrating. The shower area is very tight. The location is about a 15-minute walk out of the centre of Dundalk in a quiet residential area. Unfortunately, there was a very big wall right outside my window - no garden view (as I thought I had read in the description), but in the hall right opposite the bedroom door, was the garden view. The heating (radiators) were on when I came in after a long walk in the evening, but it's a pity they didn't come on later when it was colder - would be nice if guests could control the heating in their room.
