The bed was lovely and comfortable and the area felt very safe. The owners of this property went above and beyond for us, giving us a choice in room and even being kind enough to offer us a lift from the local station. We would highly highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the near area. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

The elderly man that met us there was so welcoming, very chatty and informative about the area. We had traveled for a funeral for one night but ended up back for another night due to the warm welcome. I’d recommend this BnB to anyone and would definitely be back again

The room was quite big (more long, I think it's 2 rooms made into one - with 3 single beds), cosy and nicely-decorated with an en-suite; check out is 11; tea/coffee-making facilities; heating. I arrived about 25 minutes before the official check-in time of 4pm and a friendly elderly man checked me in. He was very informative about the area and helpful.
I was very sad to see that the spoon on the tea tray was dirty - sticky with dried sugar and coffee on it - this does make you wonder about other things... Some channels on the TV kept going blank (black screen) when you changed channels, meaning you kept having to turn the TV on and off to get the picture - very weird and frustrating. The shower area is very tight. The location is about a 15-minute walk out of the centre of Dundalk in a quiet residential area. Unfortunately, there was a very big wall right outside my window - no garden view (as I thought I had read in the description), but in the hall right opposite the bedroom door, was the garden view. The heating (radiators) were on when I came in after a long walk in the evening, but it's a pity they didn't come on later when it was colder - would be nice if guests could control the heating in their room.
