Quaint modern Japanese house on a quiet residential street. A 2 minute walk to the lake.

Super clean, easy to check in and a friendly town. Only slight hard thing was finding the actual house because of the almost identical house next door. It’s behind the parking lot. Honestly not to hard to figure out but the only mark I could give it. Futons were surprisingly comfortable. And heaters worked amazingly.

Stayed in Hakone for a day. Rented a car at train station in Odawara and drove to the house. The house was very clean, nice bathrooms, laundry to boot! Beds were nice. Location was good to some things which were walkable. Great view of mountains from driveway.
