Chalet Itomic M - Mountain view -

Amazing view and location. Very close to lake Ashi. Many shops restaurants and convenience stores are within walking distance. The private onsen and the ping pong tables were a hit with the family. Parking on site was great. Overall, a nice stay.

They charge a cleaning fee aside from the price per night for the stay, however, we found that the bathroom on the third floor wasn't clean. The rooms on the third floor had a strong musty smell and there was dust everywhere. The screen of one of the windows was open and there were many dead bugs on the sink and floor. It is a large property, and we were only a family of 4, but it wasn't specified anywhere that we were to use only certain rooms in the property. Also, the steps from the parking spot to the property can be quite challenging with big luggage.

we had such a beautiful stay at this chalet up on a hill in Motohakone. couple steep stairs to get up there but then you walk into this massive (!) multi-floor place that looks exactly like the photos, with a gorgeous view over lake ashi and a full view of mt. Fuji when the skies are clear (we got lucky and caught it in all its glory). great base for exploring too, you can hop on the pirate ship cruise, drive out to Fuji about an hour away, walk to Hakone Shrine in like 25 mins, or do a scenic drive along the Ashinoko Skyline with tons of viewpoints along the way. there's a nice little coffee shop down the hill and a small grocery store that actually has a surprising amount of stuff. honestly would recommend this place to anyone staying around Hakone, especially if you're with a big group and want somewhere peaceful and quiet away from all the traffic and crowds

Die Aussicht auf den See und den Mount Fuji war grandios, die FeWo hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Der Weg von der Straße zur FeWo über die Stufen war für einige sehr mühsam, deswegen durfte ich das Gepäck von vier Leuten da hoch tragen, das hat mir gar nicht gefallen.
