I normally don’t write reviews, and I normally don’t care much about hotels as a solo traveler. But Hotel Sonne Garbo has made my trip in Hinterzarten so happy, that I wanted to stay in the hotel more, and feel sad leaving it. The owner has a great laugh and smile, she was very friendly. The breakfast was very delicious and cute, the owner gave me a table next to the window and I can have good view of garden. The room was very cute and has lots of details that makes your stay comfortable. I wish I could come back again some day!

great host, cosy family-run hotel. the room is nicely decorated and very clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent. the location is super, as it’s only a few minutes away from the train station. if I were to come back to Hinterzarten in the future, I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Best place in Hinterzarten!!
This Hotel was amazing. The people were so welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect in this beautiful town. It is just around the corner from the train station and close to anything you might need in this lovely place. I highly recommend Sonne Garni. The room was stunning, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with a big selection. I loved my stay in Hinterzarten and Sonne Garni was the cherry on the top. I cannot wait to return. If you are lucky to visit Hinterzarten, stay at Hotel Sonne Garni.

- excellent breakfast - coffee available all evening in a nice guest room - fridge with many drink available at a very reasonable cost - kindness of the guest, thank you! - the room had really everything to make us feeling confortable - clean place - nice view from the balcony - nice choice of restaurants nearby - tickets for the trains and facilities included in the price - great location
